finally an author that got 2 major things right. one, draco ONLY showed up to accost harry because hermione told the whole world harry was in that compartment, that never happen here, thus draco never knew to go look for him. so many ff solve the told problem and ignore this fact and draco still shows up... huge plot hole, it is as if authors have no clue what cause and effect mean. also without hagrid being an idiot and ron not shouting about gryffindor AND hermione/draco never bringing it up, harry has over a 90% chance of ending up in slytherin. good job author!

harry just wanted to be with his bro who was his first actual friend (ron was never his friend, just a male gold digger)
