not gonna lie, I'm thinking medieval time, cause this reminds me of misfit of demon academy

i hope his mom dies a horrible death. why world I say this? because this woman hid his condition from him for three years, torturing him to build his character when she knows exactly what is going on. what is the point of gas lighting her own son? this is a terrible mother. Worse is that it's terrible writing. There is zero reason to deceive and worry her son. Also, if a normal 15 year old is already stronger and faster than elementalists just by working out a little than there works be no reason to become one. these plot holes keep building up. I'm hoping that some good aspect will balance these faults, but I've yet to encounter it yet.

I honestly thought it was modern

I think the story is progressing very well and I can't wait to read more.
