One of the reason for Deadpool mind being like that is due to his illness and healing factor, both keep destroying and regenerating his brain, not helping his normal self at all xD. In one of the comics, the Skull copied Deadpool healing factor to have undying soldier, they exploded due to the healing factor acting as a cancer and generating too much flesh.

From what I know, deadpool is a drama Queen and yes this happened and worst too, currently deadpool (his head) is the king of monster and he entered a relationship with a monster hunter who i forgot the name, it may be the only time (only exception being death) he could be happy and really loved
