(A/N: Make sure you read Author's Thoughts, they are small but some have information for the future, this goes for all my books.)
-------------------
As she began to walk out she looked back at him with a smile making sure Nick and Hank were done the hall, "How about another date tonight? I would like to cook for you if you don't mind?" she was actually shy asking.
A wide smile took over his face, "That would be great." though in his mind he knew it was just a dinner between friends but he didn't say the words out loud to her instead he kept them to himself. He wasn't going to try anymore it was clear they would just be friends from now on so he was already changing how he saw her from a love interest into a sister position.
After the three took off he noticed that his living room table was now broke from someone tripping over it along with his kitchen a mess. Seems like they didn't know how to clean before they left, the slobs they are, while cleaning a bee landed on his hand and sat there he shrugged and left it alone.
Now he was wondering what is relationship with Nick was going to be like seeing as a good friend of his did try to kill his aunt. Mhm, he would need to talk to both of them to find out what is going on from both sides, he didn't think it was a straight forward as Nick was thinking.
Putting that on the back burner he called Monroe and told him everything, "Man you have either the weirdest luck or you are just to unlucky. What are the odds that something like that would even happen?" Monroe said his voice shocked.
"That wasn't my question though." Beau shook his head sighing.
"Ah right, don't worry about the whole me choosing side things. I know Nick comes to me for help but I am there for you the moment you need me man." Monroe answered with conviction, "Nick hasn't even learned anything about me unlike you who has asked some real questions."
Beau smiled at that, "Well how about this then since we are so close, I have those books like Nick why don't you come over and get them. We can stash them at your place no one would think to look there and just in case someone learns I am a Grimm then they won't be near me."
The other side went quite for a moment before he spoke up, "Thanks, I'm glad you trust me that much, come on over we can put them in the attic."
Beau agreed and started to put them all in the trunk, it was the size of a large treasure chest and really deep there were about thirty books alone in it. He lifted it up and took it downstairs taking it down to the trunk of his car, after loading he headed straight for Monroe's.
When he got there he was glad to not see Nick's car sitting out front or he would have left and came later. It was obvious that Nick wasn't going to be to close to him as long as he was friends or talking to Adalind, ignoring that for now he took out his trunk and walked to the door.
When he got closer he could smell Monroe's famous beet sausages along with some other things that was a little garlicy. Going inside he set the trunk down before heading into the kitchen, Monroe was there creating the sausages while something simmered on the stove.
"Hey man, hope you are saving some of those or me." Beau said grabbing his attention, though some might say they were nasty he quite enjoyed the taste of them. Most of the stuff that Monroe cooked was really good.
"Yeah, don't worry I know you have that date so I will set you some aside for tomorrow just come pick them up. So where is it?" He agreed while looking around for the trunk that Beau brought over.
"It is at the bottom of the stairs, let's put it away now. You can look though it as much as you want also be aware that I took some and wrote down everything that didn't deal with killing, PG if you would." Beau added since his was far different from the others it would also help him to find the ones from past Grimm's and he could see their true thoughts.
"Nice that will help when I don't want to see some things about killing my people." Monroe said with an eased expression.
"Yeah also the older ones weren't really categorized so mine are each of them is put in order alphabetically from the beginning to end." Beau thought a moment then looked at hank, "You know I was going through it and am so glad that I have never ran into a Spinnetod that this is just crazy."
He shook a little remembering the description for them, Monroe nodded along hearing that, "I know what you mean. I have an old friend who is one of those luckily she is a Wieder Spinnetod, which basically just means she doesn't sleep then eat mean like the practicing ones."
Beau sighed in relief hearing that, it was another reason it was so hard for him to find someone, things like this were just random and he had no control so it was hard to choose someone. After awhile they set up a place in the Attic with Monroe agreeing to not mention it to Nick, they wouldn't tell him anything until he patched things up with Beau.
After a couple of hours Beau left he still needed to go get ready for his hang out with Adalind tonight, he refused to call it a date that would just get his hopes up. While he still trusted her it could also be said he knows little about her so until they were closer he was going to keep her at an arms length.
After going home and getting dressed quickly he followed the directions and went to her house, it was a nice two story with her income he knew it should look good. Walking to the front door he rung the bell and didn't have to wait long before she opened it, when he saw her he was a little stunned because she looked like a fairy has descended.
Adalind was wearing a skin tight strapless dress with flats, her hair was flowing on the right shoulder making her left exposed and out her skin was beautiful not to pale but also not to dark. She smirked seeing that he was enchanted by her looks, "Well don't just stand there come on in."
Beau walked inside, he didn't bring flowers or anything but it didn't look like she was expecting some from him since she didn't say anything. She led him to the kitchen where he could smell something delicious, "Wow I didn't know you were a cook." he commented looking at everything she had made.
"Well a woman should know how, at least that is what my mother told me so she taught me how to." Adalind said with a smile while pouring him a glass of wine.
"Do you have anything else?" he asked making a disgusted face at the wine, "I just don't like wine that much." he explained seeing her raised eyebrow.
"Sure what can I get you?" she asked while walking to the refrigerator.
"Anything non alcoholic I still need to drive tonight." He said seeing her pause a moment hearing that but then she grabbed him a soda and walked back with a smile on her face.
----Adalind's Thoughts-----
She had dressed up tonight carefully hoping to move the relationship forward she didn't want him to think that she was just messing with him. She thought about telling him about the plan they had for Hank but she didn't she would explain it after it was over.
She knew that he didn't mind what she did as long as it didn't kill anyone so she figured she would just put it off. After grabbing his drink she checked on the grilled chicken she was making he was a little early so it wasn't all ready yet.
----End---
Beau took a seat while she was checking on the food, "So what did you make for tonight?" he asked trying not to come out with what he really wanted to ask her.
"Well I made Grilled Basil Chicken and Zucchini with a side of mashed potatoes and some baked bread that I started earlier when I got back." she said with a proud smile looking at him.
"Wow you are really going all out huh?" he said with a small smile taking a sip of his drink.
I'm thinking maybe he should be with Sean's mom, Rosalee, or Angelina. Depends on my mood he might also go with Adalind or Trubel
