I know she's gonna punish them but will cassius just sit still and do nothing to save ian? can't he tell marianne about the dangers of which ian and he was talking about?for which he sent daisy to spy on marianne but wait! didn't cassius told ian to stop keeping an eye on marianne in the previous chapter? I thought he told ian to inform daisy to not spy on marianne anymore?

I just don't want Marianne to kill that maid and Ian. I know they betrayed her, but they never wanted anything bad happening to her. punishment should be according to that crime. Where people like Isabelle and those other vicious noble people are living well after killing dozens of men, killing these two people just because they are commoners and their lives aren't more valuable than nobles seems kinda unfair. You have to take so many precautions to punish a noble, even slapping can cause problems,but killing a commoner for punishment is so easy ?😔 just imprison them.

oh come on don't take it on Ian.... someone should inform Marianne even if she does not wish to know anything from her husband, that Cassius is the one who has been backing her up from behind the scenes making sure she does not get harmed and that he never took a single cent from her family when they got married..... at the very least have someone put before her some bits of the truth she never knew about Cassius since her previous life...
