Chapter 94: CREATURES OF DARKNESS

Sellena kept her head up despite the many demons staring at her enter,

All was shocked of her presence, even Lucifer.

"Why did you take a human here now, Asmodeus?"

Lucifer asked, half upset and furious.

"What's wrong with that? I just wanted to remind her of my abilities,

It's not like she'd cause trouble, she'd just cheer for me,"

"We are doing a simple testing of Eligorr's power level,

Don't treat it like you're going to kill an opponent, you stupid devil,"

Satan leaned to Lucifer and told him to stop cursing Asmodeus in front of his wife,

"It destroys a man's self esteem, I do not think it is right,

You can curse him later all you want,

But not this moment, you don't have to rant,"

Lucifer calmed down, as Satan looked at Asmo quite displeased.

"Alright, carry on, let's get this over with,"

Mammon impatiently says, as he thinks of the bets he had missed.

Beelzebub watches on the side as Belphegor walked to Asmo's opposite,

"He haf extracted some nightmares, and was convinced he'd be able to use them every bit,"

Mammon yawned simply as he gestures Eligorr to go,

The hybrid agreed, and walked to the empty space, threatingly slow.

He puts on a mask that Azazel had made for him,

It makes him have greater vision, and won't easily fall down as it attaches to the skin.

It has nerves that would attach to himself, making his responses quicker,

Such invention, have truly made Azazel a great tool for Lucifer.

"Azazel used a lot of resources just to make Eligorr,

I'm expecting a much awaiting fight, much better than those before,"

Lucifer remarked, as he then sits on the high chair,

While Satan was seated beside him, watching the fight then take place.

Asmodeus cannot use his eye amulet as it will kill Eligorr once he sees it,

So he relied on his infinite length chains, although it had less benefits,

He also threw small rings, that would explode and chain Eligorr down,

But despite such efforts, Eligorr didn't lost that round.

He quickly evaded his little games,

and was way too fast to be chained,

Belphegor then commanded the dark creatures,

To catch Eligorr, but all ended in failure.

Eligorr had retained the angel's barrier,

Something exclusive to only the heavenly creatures,

And since Eleazar's form was as strong as an archangel's,

It's no doubt he was too fast for even the devils.

Asmodeus hated losing, and threw his chains high up again,

And Eligorr's foot was caught, and it burned giving him great pain,

Mammon yelled at him, reminding him that they are not meant to be severly harmed,

So Asmodeus sighed, as he cools his own chains down.

Eligorr felt highly insulted, and tried to blast a direct attack,

But was blocked, by Belphegor's creatures of black.

Belphegor rose his hand, and pointed at Eligorr,

They all followed their command, but the hybrid knew better.

His body suddenly glowed, which made it impossible to look at him for long,

He swiftly ran towards Belphegor, as he gave a big and shocking blow,

It destroyed the creatures meant to protect the sleepy demon,

As he hissed and tried again, to call upon his other summons.

This time, black tentacles emerged from the ground holding Eligorr down,

As Asmodeus wrapped his chains, to keep him bound.

Cockiness took over the demon of lust and he looked at Sellena for a moment,

Hoping to remind her, why he belongs to the powerful seven.

What he saw was not admiration but worry,

Which made the demon blush, as his focus became blurry.

The hybrid used the angel's special move,

As he glowed once more, melting the chains as it should.

He grew two pair of wings which greatly reminded Lucifer of Michael,

As he smiles and whispers, praising the work of Azazel.

Belphegor ordered the nightmarish beasts to once again try and restrain him,

But Eligorr then released a powerful blinding beam,

Angels don't use them much, as they value every being,

Hoping that some demons would surrender and be redeemed.

But minus the heavenly virtues, fighting an angel could be tasky,

And surviving one angry angel, will bring trouble to many.

Eligorr forgot to hold back and had overdone his attack,

Belphegor would have been blasted, it Asmodeus didn't pulled his chains, on his body wrapped.

Belphegor gagged as the chain was too tight,

While Asmodeus made sure, if his friend was alright,

The quick check up gave Eligorr time to try and attack him,

But Asmodeus was more alert that what he seems.

The time the hybrid was close, he quickly released his golden rings to chain him down,

But Eligorr quickly jumped, to avoid what he had thrown.

Asmodeus was not great with tactics, but tried his best to think of a way,

As Belphegor stood up, as they once again evaded Eligorr's bright lit rays.

"I'm gettin' blind if we don't finish this up quickly,"

Asmodeus said, as he complained quite childishly,

Out of impatience, he changes his form and bright red and black cinders began to float above him,

His dark brown horns turned black, and bigger, making Satan proudly grin.

It was half of Asmodeus' wrath form, the full only to be accessed every November,

He was so happy he finally used it, it was taught by Satan, himself, how nice he remembered.

Belphegor became motivated, and although simply a test battle, he used his Nightmare form as well,

Covering his body with black goo that looks like gel.

It would make him harder to grip unto, and would even seem harder to see,

As he had summon a large, and very hungry beast,

The creature of black was so huge that Belphegor seemed to have disappeared,

When in reality, on its neck he stayed there hid.

Eligorr did not expect the Princes of hell to have such forms,

And fighting them at this point is like shielding yourself from storm.

Asmodeus became more swift, as he held a burning mace on one hand,

Which then he connected to the end of his chain, and shook it off like a wand.

It made the silver chains glow and turn red as it burns,

But with Asmodeus' absorbing gloves, the flames didn't hurt.

He opened his wings, as he flew to Eligorr's space,

And Eligorr hoped he knew all of their abilities, before the fight took place.

He tried his best to dodge and attack them both,

But after some time got tired and accepted his lost,

He was still fairly strong however, as he had rarely been hit,

It was only great exhaustion, that had given him defeat.

Satan was proud of Eligorr's performance,

As Belphegor was just happy, that they made use of his assistance.

"Eligorr, it seems like if they use their base forms alone, you would have won,

But I still congratulate you, you fight well though alone,"

Mammon says, already entertained,

As Leviathan's face only showed envy and disdain.

He muttered under his breath,

Mentioning that he'd only be Lucifer's pet.

Asmodeus shook hands with Eligorr,

As the he accepted, and smiled wide after.

Sellena only felt a little uncomfortable,

Knowing that the demons seem stronger than before.

She was happy Asmodeus was not hurt,

But was reminded he's a foe of the earth.

She told herself that she shouldn't have a soft spot for him,

As he is not as kind as one would think.

Even with his innocent looking eyes,

And a demeanor one could interpret as nice,

He is still an enemy, an opposition of heaven,

He was still of darkness, a filthy Devil.

Such reminder crushed her heart slightly,

As she was about to fall for his charms bit by bit,

But since what she saw was a plan to take over the world,

Her anger and sadness in her heart came rushing back,

To the Devil, she won't surrender her soul.

On their way back, Asmodeus noticed that she was awfully quiet,

He remembered the guy from before and concluded she was still bothered by him.

He quickly kissed her cheek as he left her with Belphegor's company,

"Can you take her to the library? Elenchos is there, and I'd come back eventually,"

Belphegor had not much time to complain

as Asmodeus quickly walked away,

So he could only curse in his mind, but had nothing more to say.

He took Sellena to the library, where she saw Elenchos and a black haired woman,

She felt excited and by the looks of her, she could be another human.

Belphegor felt surprised when the almost always composed woman ran away,

Leaving him in complete awe, as she wasn't like that everyday.

She excitedly talked to the woman, who was wary of her at first,

But after finding out she's a human like her, oh how Martha's tears burst.

Elenchos was surprised to see Sellena was nowhere near Asmodeus,

"Did they have a fight, Uncle?" Was his first words.

The sloth demon laughed, as he shook his head slightly,

"No, the demon just wanted her to have fun without him, maybe?"

"Ah, it's odd he's not the one who took Lady Sellena here,"

"Nah, he's always odd enough as he is,

Just enjoy the beautiful silence when he's not around,

I almost thought such peace in this day would not be allowed,"

"Hahah, he'd be mad if he hears this,"

"But he didn't so it's alright,"

"Ah, which reminds me, how was the fight?"

"The newbie was strong, he have the will and the might,"

Elenchos felt amazed as he listens to Belphegor's narration,

While Sellena then found out, a useful revelation.

Mar had unknowingly described Ken, the man appearing in Sellena's dreams,

As Sellena has now shifted focus, on her mission, where success seems thin.

"I need to meet your friend,"

She said, the moment she heard more about Ken,

She believes that the heavens are telling her to meet the Chosen,

Although to meet him will be a lucky token.

The darkness was unbearable for the man, tied in order of Asmodeus,

He asked why he was there, although the reason seemed quite obvious.

The demon turned on a single bulb, as the man begged for his dear life,

While Asmodeus sat on a chair facing him,

Demanding the man tell what happened to him and his now wife.
