Zariel stood there with a solid expression watching Aurelia from the sidelines, revealing nothing but a sense of pride. While 'Decent of Morningstar did not come from her core, it originated from the intricate grasp of her knowledge. That called upon a Higher Beings power; a concept used heavily within Iluthath.
"Azazel's Blade!" Elyimi shouted in shock, taking a few steps back as her heart seized in fear" Surely this is not real!"
To gaze upon the aftermath at the massive ocean stretching hundreds of kilometers, Elyimi, alongside the Professors, stood still in utter dread as fear danced along their spines, sending their minds into a spiraling frenzy.
"Tier 3? No, that was a tier 4 spell!" The Red Priest said, only to shake his head, " It could be a five. I can't tell from here."
Zariel chuckled and responded in a knowing tone, "True Tier 4 and 5 are the starting point of massive spells that can destroy cities and towns. Known to many as the beginning stages of godhood. From what I can tell, Aurelia spell is around tier 4."
"Untrue," the Red Priest replied, with the flames of battle swelling within his eye. " I've seen a tier 3 spell annihilate a few cities."
There was an icy silence within the room as many bowed their heads in agreement.
They had all seen it, too. The flash of a Sigil clinging to the burning skies; The blazing radiance that shone through the ashes of war.
"And were any of those cities warded?" Zariel inquired, leaving behind a deadly realization amongst everyone present. "It is not true war if your enemy runs out with trivial protection. One must do more than climb a ladder to breach major cities with wardings." He smirked, "that spell of Aurelia is capable of destroying a tier 5 warding with its piercing power."
Eliymi's lips sealed themselves as she dared not speak on the topic of such high levels spells that required years to learn and multiple minutes to cast, a plethora of consumables alongside high levels of concentration.
She was scared.
Not at the child whose eyes seemed as innocent as anyone her age but rather the sheer effortlessness in which such a spell was used.
'A tier 4 Spell,' she thought, clenching her fist so tightly she broke through the skin.
Stroking his hairless chin, Zariel suddenly frowned, peering up into the skies and then back down unbeknownst to everyone but the Red Priest, who stood in silence, watching him like a hawk.
"I'll be back," Said Zariel, taking his leave as fast as the words left his lips. He stormed through the halls to the outside and took to the skies with a levitation spell, stopping just above the clouds where a bewitching woman stood, draped in loose-fitted black robes.
Eyes scarlet as the blood moon, with a noble elegance, the demoness eyed Zariel, placing her hands over her hips, "Zariel Snow."
"What are you?" Zariel asked, unable to sense any life emanating from the woman in front of him. Only a monstrous amount of intent somehow seemed to take on a life of its own.
"I am Lilith, the Demonic Mother of Demons," she replied in a short utterance of words.
"Who?"
"Ignorant child," Lilith stated, passing her hands through her silky black hair, "I am here because I wish to know more about your Mother."
"Mother?" He cried, instantly growing a bit defensive.
"Tell me where the Gate is," Hissed the Demonic mother in a cold, blatant tone as she blinked into existence an arm's length away, snatching him by the neck.
Suddenly a myriad of strings and nodes connectin in such intricate ways they began to take the form in that of the appearance of a human within Zariels eyes.
"I've no idea what you speak of, and personally, even if I did know, why would I tell you?" Zariel said with confidence that made even Lilith uneasy. "I've been to hell, tormented by Mephisto; what makes you think you can make me talk?"
"I could send you back,"
"And I'll just escape again."
Lilith's scarlet eyes dimmed as her fingers released their hold over the young master's neck, "You got a lot of grit. I like that." She claimed, yet her lips held a smile that did not meet her eyes. " Your Mother Yuki Snow is a name that strikes fear in many. A Forsaken in the truest sense, yet for some reason, she decided to be born in this era."
'Forsaken?' Zariel thought, 'what's that?'
"You're Mother came from a bloodline banned throughout the Heavens, cast into a land unknown to even we Origin God and Demons. Her power was unrivaled in this fourth heaven, yet for some reason. The first instance we saw her, she was gravely injured and yet held the ability to repel my advances. " Lilith claimed once again, narrowing her pearly red eyes that seemed like shards of glass glistering under the sun.
Massaging his neck, Zariel snorted, " What nonsense you speak! Origin Lord? Mother of Demons? Before I leave, make yourself known! I've no idea who the hell you are!"
"I am Mephisto's equal! Is that enough information for you!" She said, rolling her eyes at the irritation before her. " Now speak before my patience wears thin. I know you know something about your mother! A story she told during your days as a toddler, places you've been. God forbid, surely you've seen something!"
"Mephisto's equal? I find that hard to believe. Mephisto for all his jokes and games. That man is poised, looking at himself as both an observer and a critic. He is one of the most terrifying men, and I barely know him; you, on the other hand, seem like some random bitch trying to strong-arm a man with nothing to lose." Zariel said, lowering his arm to his side.
"Nothing to lose!" Repeated Lilith bellowing a slew of sweet laughter, " What of that girl below?"
"Aurelia? Go right ahead; I honestly would like to see what will happen. I want you to try to kill me as well. Challenge Mephisto. I do believe he is watching. And Aurelia's Father, I believe Mephisto said his name was Lucifer Morningstar. Truly I would like to see what he can do. After all, if Mephisto is Aurelia's niece, then that must mean that Lucifer and Mephisto are brothers."
