-----------------------------------------------------

He remembered his son's facial expression and, at once, knew his son had known about The King's decision long ago before the messenger came. He wanted to scold Edward at the moment and give him some punches in the face for only taking Cassana with him. He should have gone with them.

'Well, I can't do anything anymore, can I? Better use the good for nothing, Helda, and let my wife have some days off.' Thought Steffon as signaled the guard to call Helda and everyone. He did not forget to call Stannis and Renly.

Half an hour after sending the guard, everyone was already in the hall. Steffon, looking at everyone there, started explaining.

"I have received a letter from the king, two hours ago. He ordered me to leave for Volantis at once." Said Steffon while looking at everyone.

Everyone was surprised by what Steffon said. To order the Lord of Storm's End to leave for Volantis at once, that had to be very important. Everyone started to wonder about the content of the letter.

Steffon did not let them wait for long and started explaining again.

"The King had ordered me in his letter to find a bride for Prince Rhaegar there. So we will leave at once. Since Cassana is not here to accompany me, you should prepare yourself, Helda. We would leave first thing in the morning. Send for the brat, and tell him that I appointed him as the Castellan of Storm's End till I come back. Meanwhile, Stannis, You will lead this position till your brother is back." Said Steffon to both Stannis and Helda.

Helda had a chill ran through her back. She remembered the look Edward gave her before he left Storm's End. It was as if he was saying to her. "Laugh as much as you could. It's your last one, after all.". Helda wanted to refuse, but after another look at Steffon's face, she knew he would not accept a no for an answer, so she closed her mouth.

Steffon would not allow a woman to sit in his wife's place and do nothing in return. He was going to use her till she could not stand up.

Stannis looked at his father and nodded. Although Edward tried to change his dour character, he could not do much due to Robert's influence on Stannis. Stannis was still feeling inferior towards Roberts, which put a massive weight on his heart. This feeling shackled him and made his progression not what Edward had hoped for from Stannis.

During the last few years, Edward came closer to Stannis, and they could even be considered friends. Among his brothers, Edward could say that the last one he would kill would be Stannis. Although Edward wanted to have him as one of his generals, he found that Stannis had many hidden ambitions that came to light late due to Robert.

Edward decided to use him only till the Rebellion. But after that, he would leave him in Dragon's Stone. His hate for Robert would reach its peak when he rotted there. Edward wanted to use Stannis to attack King's Landing as he did in the show. After his defeat, Edward would try to get him back to his side.

"During this time, Heldon will continue his position as master-at-arms in the castle. The rest should also continue their position." Said Steffon, getting a nod from everyone.

After some more talk, Steffon dismissed everyone to prepare.

The next day in Storm's End, The ship "Windproud" stood tall in the Seaward of Storm's End. That was the ship that would take Steffon, Helda, and one hundred men to Essos.

Two months later, the ship would break down and sink in The Shipbreaker bay. Steffon and Helda would die by then. And that would present an opportunity for Edward, as he would be finally able to place the first piece in the game.

Back to Edward, who was now in King's Landing for one day, Edward spent the last day in the house, not showing any movement that would alert the master of whispers.

He did not know it, but he was already being monitored. Not because of a crime or something but because the sissy prince wanted to know him better.

Rhaegar had reached King's Landing the same day Edward did. When he arrived at his room in the Red Keep, he sent his men to check if Edward had arrived at King's Landing. No one knew if it was obsession or what, but since hearing about Edward, Rhaegar insisted on meeting Edward.

If Edward knew about he would only say. "Fuck off."

After resting for some hours, His father sent for him. He wanted to inform him about something, so he had to go.

When he arrived at the small council room, he saw Lord Tywin Lannister waiting there. He did not know what his father wanted from him and why he called for Lord Tywin at the same time.

Rhaegar did not have a great relationship with Tywin as Aerys always thought. In fact, They did not have a good one from the start. Rhaegar thought that Tywin was cunning, and all he sought was power. And that was why he wanted to associate with the royal family. Tywin did not like Rhaegar, either. He thought that Rhaegar was also against marrying his daughter, Cerci. Tywin wished to kill every Targaryen due to all the Humiliation that he had endured.

Minutes later, Aerys entered the room. He looked at his son and Tywin with a paranoid look, which then turned into a mockery. He called for the both of them here to inform them about his decision. He wanted to see their pained look after hearing that their plans that both of them prepared to replace him had gone south.

"Set." Ordered Aerys. He could not wait to tell them. His expression changed multiple times in those few moments. From doubt to mockery followed by craziness.

"Your grace, why have you called for me?" Asked Tywin after seeing that Aerys stayed silent for minutes and the change of his expression.

Rhaegar also paid attention. He had from the servants about the change of behavior and the madness of his father. He had heard that his father burned those who opposed him alive.

"Ah yes, I wanted to talk to you both about the decision I made. I had sent for Steffon. I ordered him to set sail at once to Volantis to find a bride for Rhaegar. A bride with the ancient and noble Valerian bloodline." Said Aerys with a smile as he looked at the change of expression of both Tywin and Rhaegar.

At that moment, he was sure that both of them were in it together. They must have started planning against him behind his back. No way would he allow that as he was going for the kill.
