This is a amazing story please dont listen to what those unremarkable and unreasonable people say as this story is amazing and to many of my favorite fanfics have died out because of hate and jealousy. Just some friendly advice unless its actual good criticism then you have no reason to listen to them as most likely they are either edge lords, Brats who think things should go their way, a jealous person who is jealous of your writing skills and the attention it has gained, a troll, or a mix of what ive stated. Dont let your motivation die out i know you can do it.
it is your story and you have every right about it but you introduced mc as royalty . he is the heir future daimyo by birth. you could have focused on palace life, 12 guardians, interactions with other nobles and their heirs , he could drastically change the future by his previous life by giving ideas to talented people and make his people lifes comfortable while making his country strong so they wont be invaded. instead of that you made him a ninja like every fic. thats what i think.
Since toxicity has won the day all we can do now is laugh at them, petty bitches with no lives, talent or relationship that have to come dump on writers coz they can't write their own shit pffff mad respect to the writer for the flex of not giving up the story but stocking up for mass release bitch slap to those sad sad basic normies
Bro I get it that you don't like hateful comments...no one does,... but once you write a novel in a public space for free you need the ability to take it all.....not just good opinions but bad ones too...I mean sometimes some comments may be too bad, they just need to be just filtered out.....Some may not like your novel...and that should be fine...You can just do your own work no need to be depressed.....[img=recommend]

The amount of edgy people that just wants the MCs to go psycho and turn to an evil bastard is staggering. Like what the heck?! People be forcing their own ideas on to the author when they're not even paying for the story, heck they shouldn't do that even if they paid for it. People out here be acting like privileged idiots that their ideas should be done by the author. And even now, I still don't understand why they want the MC to randomly kill characters, what the heck did Hiruzen even do to the MC that it justifies him being killed?! Are the people here really that starved for those stupid "evil" MCs? I know that those people have probably read/watched many animes/manga/LNs that they have grown tired of the good hearted but dense japanese MCs so they turned to fanfics in order to see the opposite of those. But damn, everytime I see a fanfic where the MC is a good hearted person, there will be people in the comments who goes like "Kill this guy", "Kill that guy", "MC is a beta don't read". These people labels a good hearted personality as "beta" so they want every MC that they have read to be Evil aggressive alpha MC that will kill people just because they annoyed him and will bang all his girls. And what's worse is that they're forcing their ideas on the author or leaves a bad review saying that the MC is "beta" which turns people away from reading the story. That's not even what a beta meant. Sorry for the rant.
The problem isn't only the hurtful comments. It's the culture where it is more or less accepted to bash anyone on Webnovel without backlash or defence options for the authors. Some people might defend the authors but it's a vocal minority and there seem to be no community managers. There should be for example a flag system for readers with hurtful comments and they should get time bans to comment after n reports, with the option to permanently disable there right to comment. The other problem is people don't seem to get what constructive criticism is. You can comment on the grammar if it is really bad, but the one in this story for example for fanfiction is good and if you comment it should either be a helpful comment like dear author, in chapter n, x,z you made this or that error, could you take notice of this in future chapters please or simply refrain. Second is one can say something about major plotholes or the like but the direction of the story is only in the hands of the author except if he asks for feedback or it is formulated as a polite request the problem is most readers get away with simply making unreasonable demands. You can only demand something from someone if you're their sole employer and he accepted the employment beforehand and it is within this remit. Third the option to delete comments as an author only hides the problem and they often even get backlash simply for deleting a hurtful comment. Fourth people often only say something when the problem is at a point where the author already wants to quit. P.s. My excuse is I read not a single comment before this chapter and if I did I have to confess I'm often in the silent majority because the problem is so bad on Webnovel that you don't have the energy to reply to every unreasonable comment P.p.s I wish you all the best author
I think you have a excellent idea for a story, you have a well written plot and your characters are very well defined. I can't wait for your next chapter, don't worry about what other idiots say, this is your story and you can do with it what you want. Hope to read your story as soon as you are ready to post again.
