“Why not?” Poppy shot back, seeming desperate to be innocent.
“Either of you could have easily faked the handwriting completely. I doubt it’d be that hard.” I justifiably retorted.
“I would assume as much, yes.” Liam admitted, staying as calm as he could, as we continued probing both of them for information.
I kept on glancing towards Mia as I continued prying at both Poppy and Liam, and her expression was much different now.
Her eyes were widened, her hand was over her mouth, and she seemed to be thinking of something truly unnerving. Nevertheless, I continued to try and figure out who had done it before she could give us the answer.
