Every fiber in the universe hears, every star in the Galaxy responds and each deed has a repercussion. When a soul sufferers the whole Creation cries, the sorrows never to be gone unnoticed.
Never curse a fair, never make their heart weep-the ultimate rule of Life.
Each breath of the sufferer had an effect and the tormentor has to pay.
The moon goddess Selene had broken the rule but time always ruled and the person to hold it's reins was captured in his own world... it won't be long when his chains will be destroyed... so will the goddess' destiny.
A child was born with eyes of ocean. Sweet nectar seemed to flow as her cry rang for the first time. Dark blue eyes with an aquamarine tint seem to glimmer with joy. Her mother clasped her mouth crying tears of joy while her father held his baby with pride in his eyes. Her brown hair in small wavy curls seem to be flowing with with wind, soft breeze caressing her with utmost affection.
The oblivion which was roaring with thunder seem to bow down to her, calming the catastrophic rain.
The one to command powers of life and death was born as a werewolf... an irony.
A horrific scream resonated from her mouth as ink darkness covered her hands, the same hands which broke the rule of nature. Her creamy fingers developed claws - a corrupted soul.
Her eyes snapped to the dark blue mirror adorned with turquoise sapphire, it reflected her once luminescence face marred with a shade of pitch coal. Another scream left her lips.
Never will be the moon shine bright, full in onyx night, now it's beauty would be engulfed by darkness in it's soul.
There wasn't a day when the full moon failed to shine in all it's glory... but it won't be full now, nature was changing its course and Selene would pay the price of going against it.
May the little girl never pay the price though... for her new mate was made to devastate her.
Present.
Black moon pack.
Persephone's POV
The pack house was filled with murmurs, the people who ignored me all my life were eyeing me with jealousy... for what? To be fated with a monster?
They orphan and Omega children whom I used to live with until a few hours ago were huddled in the corner eyeing my food full plate hungrily.
They haven't been given food for the past two days and today they would be served enough to survive the next two.
Tears glistened my eyes as I took in their malnourished form, the people were throwing pitiful glances there way but we're they even bothered?
My heart had several questions encrusted like pearls inside an oyster shaking furiously on the a seabed of a furious ocean. If my pack mates would have really cared they wouldn't throw profanities whenever a spot on floor was left uncleaned... mere children... they were just children whom they tormented.
No soul and no heart... truly heartless, unempathetic they were and those acts and facade they wore, pretending to be kind was even crueler.
"Persephone, please give us one too." Lily with her big brown eyes filled with hope asked for the grapes which seem to overflow out of my plate.
He was a monster - my mate to keep the children starved. I plucked a branch, the wolves surrounding me watching my action with dread.
An icy voice froze the room. "What do you think you are doing orphan mate?"
