The problem with the "blood bath" is that it will put a big target on him since I don't think the people of the gotei 13 will let him do what he want if he kill shinigami right and left. For him killing a captain? that's the same, Genryūsai will never let him leave alive. Since right now he is more low key, he can't allow himself to kill a higher ranked or too many grunt, maybe have the three betray the Seireitei then have him kill Tōsen? he will say something like "that's why you don't monologue surrounded by enemy you just betrayed".

Maybe you can change a bit, put Ishida with Chad then Yoruichi, Orihime and the MC together so if you want him to act alone for a moment, the girls could stay together before he came back to them.
