I know that it's too late to think about it now, but where is the horn of Joramunn? And the obsidian armaments? Jon should have found them thanks to his wolf when he was on the other side of the wall with the Night watch, and it was thanks to those obsidian weapons that Sam kill a white walker and discovers the weak point of the enemy, he also waste the dagger on a wight because they don't share the weakness to obsidian and Valyrian steel, but that's beside the point. As this fan fic is following the books, I assume that the wall will go down not by the hands of a dragon, but with the horn as it has been repeated a lot how the legendary Horn of Joramunn can bring down the wall, and a common theory is that the one Mance found was a fake and the true one was the one found by Jon and given to Sam, does that means that the horn is still somewhere lost in enemy territory? Or Sam found it anyway? I ask because there is no mention neither of Sam killing a white walker nor a mention of the battle of the watch against the dead. While Jeor mentioned that very few men returned from the expedition he didn't explicitly say why.
