Tycoon System in Cyberpunk 2077

[Author's Note: this is an introductory chapter so it's pretty short, tell me what you think of this kind of story in the comments]

After a rather brief conversation with God, they decided it would be best for him to reincarnate, he would be given a system like the Gamer but it would be more focused on gaining money, influence, and power... not personal power but political, military, criminal, and corporate power.

When he was told that he would reincarnate into a ten-year-old boy, he was ecstatic, why? don't worry, he's not a pedophile, just an opportunist.

He could spend the first seven or eight years earning money and a reputation.

Night City, 2050.

On one of the many streets of Night City, a young boy can be seen entering a bar meant for adults.

Afterlife, a bar owned by the best fixer in the city, Rogue.

As she finishes her drink, she sees a young boy, ten-years-old, in well-maintained clothing approaching her.

"Did you get the package?", she says to him, looking at his natural features again, charcoal black hair, bright blue eyes, and pale white skin.

The boy nods before handing her a package, "still in tiptop condition boss"

Rogue liked the boy which says a lot considering she barely liked anyone, he was a hard worker and had a good attitude.

"Nice work, Jackson, would you like me to keep your reward safe like usual?", when the boy started working for her three months ago as a courier, he asked if she could put his money in a private account since somebody could just rob him, she agreed.

He looks at her with a calm expression, "how much do I have altogether?"

Her eyes glow for a second before returning to normal, "you have €$12, 800"

He thinks for a second, "I'd like to permanently purchase a room here, a private one that no one else enters unless it's you personally"

She nods her head slightly, "it'll cost you €$10,000"

He holds out his hand, "deal"

She smiles before taking his hand and shaking it, "if no one is allowed to enter your room, why am I the exception?"

He theatrically swipes back his hair before giving her a cheeky grin, "I mean look at me, I'm so damn handsome, it's only a matter of time before you fall in love with me", he says with sarcasm dripping from every word.

She laughs at him, which surprises those around her, Rogue barely smiled but she never laughed.

"I'll keep that in mind", she calls for over one of her assistants, "take Jackson to the abandoned crown suite, that's his room from now on, no one enters under any circumstance"

Her assistant nods before leaving with the child, as she watched the boy leave, she still has a smile on her face, 'i've never wanted a child of my own in my entire life but that boy almost makes me regret that.

--- Jackson POV ---

Heading up the stairs with the assistant, they arrive at a red door with a metal frame, opening the door reveals a rather lavish room with a king-sized bed, fully furnished kitchen, large bathroom, and a great view of the city.

[Job Complete: Acquire a permanent home - Reward: €$1000]

He waves her away, "thanks", he says before locking the door behind him.

He takes a seat on his new bed, 'System, show me everything'

Taking off his clothes he undressed until he's nude before slipping into bed.

'Need to go see Wakako tomorrow'
