There is a manga on this called "doomed to be king" the art is great and the manga too. there are subtle differences between the book and manga but to be honest i'd prefer the manga over the book on this one.

Uninteresting. MC leaves his job to follow his system that just woke up. MC starts by climbing a mountain and selling magic rice for a high price, ok. MC is pretty plain, and the system just outright bullies him. OK. I mean seriously, I've seen around 5 other novels with the same premise, isekai->system->build up their shop/sect/force of their own. So far they're all the same. If someone has read further please let me know if something unique happens, I didn't bother paying fast-passes for this.

This novel is such garbage I had to give it another review since Qidian doesnt let us rate below 2/10. I’ve kept reading the MTL and just wow has ot gotten even worse. It’s become the shit where people try to kill the MC and the MC is like “virtue of life” yada yada and lets them go. What will happen because of this? Obviously more enemies will come. There is just stupid trial after stupid trial because everyone looks down on the MC and the MC wants to prove himself to face slap everyone just like China wants to do in its dreams. Pure garbage. I can’t think of a worse novel I’ve read in the past ten months. And I’ve read a lot of shit-tier novels on here.

This story is kind of funny sometimes... Only sometimes... Characters suffer from brain retardness of maximum level. It's not complete shit like Lin fan novels. Considering release rate, it's better to read manga. 3 stars for both trans/stability of updates. 2 stars for story. It had great potential but... author couldn only create simple parody of wuxia. Characters? Please, no. Some of them are 1 dimensional... Even MC seems to be static. World background? Entire star for zero creativity.

I prefer this style of Doom to Be the King. For me it is much more succinct in how his cheat works and is also not as cringey (my personal opinion) as the comic one. Very nice.

This novel is kind of meh.. Good for those who like a sect building-ish genre but definitely in far ahead... The way he interact with people and his own system kind of awkward, like you can insult someone whole family today and yet you act like BFF in next day which I don't really like. Maybe author want to convey some kind of stuff he imagine yet he can't write it down perfectly or the translator screw up.. Anyway, not recommended by me..
