I always wonder how Hiruzen become known as the God of Shinobi. That's just BS with people like the Third Raikage in his generation. I don't think the third Kazekage was weaker than him and according to what we saw in the show Oboli seems also stronger. The title God of Shinobi should belong to someone who is so far beyond those of his generation that he is a new level of power alone like Hashirama (if we don't consider Madara) but Hiruzen clearly doesn't fulfill these conditions.
