CORNBRINGER
He should have taken her beatings like a man so that she can vent and then after her calming down had a talk azula is azula 'because' of all the messed up shit that's happened to her the story would be better if he helped her get better as cringy as it sounds its better character development this is like Mc : hmmm I don't like her personality so let's brainwash and get a clean slate Azula : ooh thnx ur the best bf
I respect you, I really do, but this development is really poorly made. From a reader standpoint what I don't want is memories being tamper with, because it is the easy way and ruins the little plot that could have been made and character development that Azula could have. Now you just mindwipe and boom: New character from start (I suppose) Really dissapointing. I could be wrong, or people will disagree with me, at the end of the day, this is just my opinion but let me tell you, this is a downgrade to my enjoyment of your Avatar novel.
On one hand I understand what the MC wants to do. But on the other, I find he is going a little to far in trying to preserve the twisted bond he had with her. From the get go the relationship was doom for failure sadly. I can't be sure what I've would've pick in his place. I like to think I would've done like many have said, take it like a man. Still the fact that he cared deeply for her was clouding any impartial judgement he had for her, don't forget once Azula learn the truth. She didn't stop at only directing her rage at him, but toward his new foster familly. Leaving her alone in her emotional turmoil to plot from the shadows he couldn't risk it. So hence the brainwashing, all so that he could hopefully offer her a fresh start in a new life. This of course is the major moral dilemma everyone is feeling not so hot about. So as I said before personally I really don't know what I would do in the MC place. Im just glade I can read from a distance, without having to make such a crappy choices. Love the story, keep it up.

i really like the fact you have taken this kind of approach for the girl most of the other fanfics i read are always trying to show how much of a misunderstood innocent fragil girl azula is and how much you should cuddle her this kind of character is much more realistic according the the main story . . . keep up the good work i like your writings very muchđ
