the power of plot armor is so strong in this novel that whatever tension the author makes is just nonsense, don't get me wrong i love this however the way that every challenge to Astrid is solved by either Wulfric or himself by his immensely gigantic "talent" that it makes everything boring except for the character interactions
I get it that he he confident, but i still feel like he should have never accepted such a deal. I am sure the effect will be great because he is the protagonist. But that contract is extremy shady, they are pushing him into a pit and he is going to faceslap them by bringing them money.

It would have been fun to see if Aster has just been "Nah this isn't ethical enough. No deal" and then after less than half a year people of EMMA would have been in great regret when Aster had reached high in star list (I don't remember exactly what was Aster's goal Top 100 maybe). Plus maybe some gossip account could have leaked what happened behind the scenes.
