[CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE]

Previously on Avenging Angels

Rose finds Chloe at the bottom of the stairs and she is quickly rushed to the hospital. Rose put two and two together and she realizes that it wasn't an accident.

ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE

Forty-five minutes.

Forty-five minutes since I walked into this hospital.

Forty-five minutes since I saw Chloe in that horrid state.

And forty-five minutes since I have been sitting here, waiting for the doctor to come out from the room.

The clock kept on ticking.

I tapped my palm on my bare knees as a sign of habit.

My eyes were set nowhere other than the door.

Please come out.

I silently begged.

Please come out and tell me she is fine.

Assure me that nothing has happened to her.

Anything, 

Just don't tell me that she is-

No!

Chloe will be fine, she will be okay, she is strong and she will overcome it.
