[CHAPTER SEVENTY NINE]

 Previously on Avenging Angels

Rose finds out that Travis was hired by Lorenzo to protect her. Rose and Christian talk out their problems. 

 SEVENTY-NINE 

"Rose, get the door please" Violet said as she stirred the vegetables on the pan. 

"Yes, ma'am" I scowled and got up from my comfortable position on the chair. 

The door bell rang again as I walked down the hall. My apron got cut on the table at the hall and I dragged the cloth but it didn't budge. 

The doorbell rang once more. 

"Coming" I hissed as I removed my apron frok the table. 

I yanked the door open and my eyes met no one at the door. Suddenly, I felt something hard hit my shin and I groaned as I doubled over. 

"You're slow as a tortoise for a young lady!" I heard a snappy voice and I looked up with annoyance on my face.
