He should understand why she's like that, his family killed her family! They took everything from her while they are enjoying the spoils of her once kingdom! Her life living in her small kingdom was peaceful until the king decided to conquer it! Did her family owe them to steal their land? No! They just wanted to expand their territory, for them it was good but for the one who was conquered it cost them their life! If were in her shoes I'll probably live in guilt and hatred (Survivor's guilt is real) that's why I applaud the author for keeping her character not like those 'some novels' that the FL will fall in love immediately to the ML because he is good to her forgetting her grudges and not having any closure!

Why hasn’t Mars realized an important point yet? For someone usually so sharp, he’s being quite slow... Even if she doesn’t say it aloud, her being a princess of a kingdom he’s conquered means that her family is dead... shouldn’t he be wondering how she survived instead of thinking that she’s heartless?

I don’t feel sorry for Mars at this point, at all! Another reader pointed out that it’s realistic for her to still behave this way and I agree wholeheartedly. I also feel like Mars brought this on himself when he created most of these misunderstandings with her in the beginning and continues them because of his pride. If he thinks he can say whatever he wants but then act sweetly (at times) and Emmelyn is supposed to just “get” his feelings for her AND reciprocate them… 🤦🏻‍♀️

secondly we don't know how old emmelyn is she's starting to have a childish brain if she would give birth to a child and leave those children .....even if she gets her kingdom back she needs a king would she be able to fall in love when she's this cold hearted

emmelyn is such a cold-hearted girl am beginning to hate her it's his pride to conquer kingdom's if wintermare had the opportunity to conquer others they would do the same she using vengeance the prince most not put his hope on her she's a big disappointment he should focus on his kingdom let see how the story continues

I feel sad for mars too and hope that she tells him her true feelings about what happened to her family,how she survived and have some understanding which i think he would say he's sorry for hurting her. I hope they work things out and be together

He really wanted to make love to her, but he has no choice but to treat it like a job. Emmelyn had it good until she spoke those words to him. It hurt Mars feelings and everything changed for him at that moment. Emmelyn your passionate love making nights might be over. You better fix it girl. 😳😒😜
