Comments of chapter undefined of The Genius Slime Tamer (SLIME?)

I don’t understand why he is just now going to get it since he is smart wouldn’t he know that if you leave it there for as long as he did then the body would be taken or beginning to decompose...? Idk 🤷‍♂️ guess its just the way the author wants to lead the story in that direction.......still love the novel though.
