Gwen sucks more now. I feel like Arthur marrying the girl he likes, then requesting Emery protects their kingdom while they get married is a little rough. I swear thIs whole time he hasnt shown a hint of anger at anything? Lets not forget the kingdoms killed his family and hunted him? I actually feel bad for him, since the start of this novel he has won nothing. Even his wins were marred with some sort of injustice. (Good chapters though, big hype) Honestly the only thing i really want to see at this point is Emery have one win. An undisturbed moment of happiness that makes all his suffering a little better. Like even winning a meat tray at a pub raffle would be better than any of his current wins!

since the news about the curse of the fays i'm more interested in how emery is going to deal with morgana and when he will kill maeve. Regarding the war I think the wedding is the best time to withdraw the sword. In this way Arthur could obtain a new alliance with the Viking in exchange for some land with Merlin's help in eradicating the barbarians and the Nogales kingdom.
I’m curious to see how Excalibur will tie into all of this. I also had an interesting thought that the finally cultivation method where one needs to stay a virgin could be an interesting twist if it was given to Arthur as an excuse to not sleep with Gwen, get a power up, and still have her being a love interest with Emery
