I don't think Emery will accept. 100 years seems a long time for just the benefits offered. I think the dragon has more secrets he can offer to Emery. I say don't take it! how about Emery making his own faction?

I think he should try and negotiate, but accept the deal. Ask for a method of repeated access to Earth to use when not at the academy, or to be able to choose at the end of each year which planet he goes to

Well, the contract just says that Emery has to serve the faction for 100 years after becoming a Magus, but it did not specifically state where, so it doesn’t technically restrict him to their planet and could be at Earth etc.

I dont think he Should The whole point is to make his planet free How can you be there to protect Your planet if he hast to serve someone for 100 years

Does the '10 year' duration hold some significance to the magus timespan? 100k spirit stones a day for 10 years, which implies that after 10 years, he's on his own unless he break through. There is also the part where if he had stayed with the dragon for 10 years, he would break through and become a magus without external help from the academy.

thanks for the chapter. Emery should accept, he will have a very hard time growing without help. He should just ask for a way to travel between Earth and their planet, saying he needs to go to Earth first. If he needs an excuse (since he might not want to tell about a secret Dragon master), he can explained it with the requirement to increase his bloodline power.

Late to the party, but he should renegotiate. The deal is very good, but 100 years of servitude is not something he can agree to, as he does have connections on earth. Options are, delaying the service, removing many benefits to get the service as a x jobs version (with choice to do it), or refuse outright and cash out some benefits (like 200,000 stones) instead of the favourable deal.

He is thinking about the safety of his home .As if he is powerful eneough to amount to anything .Even Lord Uzta is powerless to fo anything about Earth. pretty stupid

sort out the dragon business first. accepting here would be so bad. having to be tied down by another faction sounds like bad plot development. he needs to be "Earth's Greatest Magus" not some other planets
