*Nathan's POV*

I'm in love with my best friend.

She still loves him.

She's dying.

Those were the things he said.

Two statements are true and the other one is a lie.

"I'll give you a hint." Sabi niya. "The answer lies on what I told you nung sinapak kita."

Ryan doesn't love her romantically.

If he does, he should've made a move on her dahil sa sitwasyon namin pero hindi niya ginawa.

He's just protecting her.

"If you're just going to make her cry, hindi mo na sana siya pinaasa in the first place!"

Ito namang babaeng 'to kanina pa nagbabasa simula nung dumating ako.

Hindi ko maintindihan kung paano siya nakakabasa sa ganung pwesto but I didn't want to move kahit nangangalay na yung mga binti ko.

Having the chance to stare that close to her face was enough for me but I was starting to get bored. Kaya kinulit ko nalang siya at ito yung nangyari.

"Baby, balik ka na dito." Sabi niya.

I just crossed my arms.

It made me smile nung niligpit niya sa gilid yung libro pero balik poker face paglingon niya sa'kin.

"Nagtatampo ka?"

"Nagtatampo ka talaga?" She closed the gap between us tsaka nilapit yung mukha niya.

Akala ko aalis na siya when she stood up pero pumunta siya sa harap ko and held my face between her hands.
