Had a thought for Jade's power build. According to the story lore different types of energy cannot 'co-emit' in the same spell (i.e. can't use ice magic combined with Cyttorak's energy) But you see all kinds of effects with chi magic (fire, ice, purify, curse ect.). So what if chi acts as a buffer/connecter to different energies (after all the gods you're drawing magic from are alive and thus have chi) so you could have runic tattoo ports that draw in other sources of power and store them in a type of pocket in a person's chi to be used in spells. So have Jade make imprints of the 12 talismans that are not connected to Shen Du (they were originally natural powers in the world anyway) in 12 tattoos on her arms and what ever other power you can think of. And sense you're going to introduce Peter-soon-to-be-Spider-Man have her scan his spider powered chi and make a lesser copy of his power. Hope I explained it clearly enough.... It's 3AM.... I had an idea...
