Eat well!

"Hello!" A voice came from above where Michael was standing.

Michael looked up and narrowed his eyes when he looked at the source of the sound and found Gabby hanging from a tree.

"Bored, huh?" Michael asked briefly then continued walking towards the fence of his house.

Gabby carefully lowered herself from the tree and followed Michael. Feeling followed, Michael turned around then narrowed his eyes when he saw Gabby's eyes and nose were red.

"You've been crying, right?" Asked Michael.

Realizing his current condition, Gabby immediately turned around and walked toward her house, "What the hell? I already went in first, see you tonight!"

Michael frowned and thought for a moment, 'What's the event tonight?'

-

Arriving inside the house, Gabby went straight to the large glass in the living room and studied her face. And sure enough, her eyes and nose are red.

It wasn't long before her mother's voice came from the kitchen, "Gabby? Come on, you said you want to learn to cook with me?"

Hearing her mother's voice made Gabby remember about her original plan to learn cooking. She wanted to give Michael her own cooking as thanks for bringing her ice cubes for her bruised cheek.

"Yeah, I'm coming." Gabby replied.

-

Ting Tong Ting Tong

Gabby straightened her hair and checked her appearance on the front camera of her cellphone. She looked inside and smiled as she saw Adam jogging to open Michael's fence.

"Good evening Adam! Is Michael in the house again?"

Adam smiled back at Gabby, "Ah yes, young master is in the music room."

"Thanks, Adam." Gabby handed Adam the lunchbox in her hand, "Here's some food for Michael."

"Oh, just come in. It's okay." Adam replied as he told Gabby to come in, his hand opening wide the gate of Michael's house, inviting Gabby to come inside.

Without further ado, Gabby's feet followed Adam into Michael's house. Arriving at the entrance, Adam invited Gabby to precede him, "Please come in, the music room is on the second floor. The one with the light brown door."

Gabby just nodded her head in place of words of thanks. The woman climbed the stairs slowly. For some reason, her heart was beating wildly imagining she would soon meet Michael. Arriving on the second floor Gabby followed the faint sound of a piano playing, and sure enough it was coming from a room with a light brown door.

Gabby let out a deep breath and then slowly pushed open the door. When Gabby was in Michael's music room, her eyes were immediately fixed on the large piano. Michael looked like an angel in his white casual dress with short sleeves, sitting gracefully as his fingers continued to tap on the white and black keys.

It looked like Michael didn't notice Gabby's arrival, as his eyes were kept tightly closed and his hands moved swiftly over the piano keys. Gabby stood there frozen by the door, not daring to walk closer to Michael.

Suddenly, the piano sound stopped. Gabby didn't know if the song was over or if Michael finally realized that Gabby was in the room. When Michael opened his eyes, they fell directly on Gabby. Michael quickly got up from the piano chair and walked toward her.

"What are you doing here?" Michael's beautiful eyes sparkled like there were stars in them.

Gabby smiled shyly and replied, "I'm learning to cook so I want to let you taste a little."

"Are you cooking?" Michael asked in disbelief then looked at Gabby's empty hand, "So where are your cooking now?"

"Don't underestimate me!" Exclaimed Gabby, folding her arms across her chest, "I gave Adam the food."

Michael saw Gabby's face then thoughtlessly grabbed Gabby's right hand and invited her to go deeper into the music room. Apparently, there was a small table under which was covered by a white rug.

Michael removed his handrail and sat down in one of the available chairs. Gabby followed him and took a seat across Michael.

Gabby looked at the piano that stood proudly in the middle of the room and asked Michael, "Oh yeah, since when have you been playing the piano?"

Michael thought for a moment and then replied, "Since I was five years old."

"Five years?!" Gabby asked in disbelief, her eyes widened in shock and her little mouth slightly ajar. Seeing Gabby's funny expression made Michael chuckle and covered the mouth of the woman who was sitting opposite him.

"When I was five years old, I just learned to ride a tricycle!" Gabby replied in annoyance, she still couldn't believe little Michael, whose feet hadn't reached the floor when sitting on the piano chair, had started to learn playing the piano.

Michael smiled gently and replied, "My mom and dad have been able to play the piano since they were little, so I also have to follow in their footsteps."

"Now, what are your parents working for?" Gabby asked curiously.

"My father was a contractor and my mother was a piano player, just like me."

Gabby could only be amazed at the thought of Michael and his mother playing the piano duet, but when Gabby saw Michael's face, she saw sadness enveloping his sweet face.

While Gabby didn't know what to answer, Adam knocked lightly on the door and entered carrying a tray of food and two cups of hot tea.

"Young master, here's Miss Gabby's cooking. Please enjoy it."

Adam walked over and put the tray carrying food and drink on the table. Michael looked up and smiled proudly at Gabby when he saw the food in front of him.

"What are you cooking?" Michael asked, pointing to Gabby's cooking.

"Because you like western food that's why I learned to cook fettuccine." Gabby answered looking at her lap, she didn't dare to see Michael's expression.

Hearing this, Michael's cheeks felt warm. While he swallowed hard, he took the fettuccine in front of him and immediately devoured it. Michael made a groaning sound like he was enjoying Gabby's cooking, making Gabby look up to his face.

Gabby chuckled when she saw that there was a trace of white sauce on the corner of his mouth, she sighed and took the tissue on the table then wiped the corners of Michael's mouth carefully.

"Eat well, young master." Gabby scoffed. Michael's ears couldn't hear the taunts coming out of Gabby's mouth, he could only hear the sound of his heartbeat.

"How is it? Is it good or not?" Gabby asked after successfully wiping Michael's mouth with a tissue.

Michael tried to swallow his food, closed his eyes and answered loudly, "It's delicious! It tastes like the food at an expensive restaurant!"

Hearing this Gabby threw the dirty tissue at Michael, "What the hell? It's just embarrassing."

Michael nodded his head seriously, "Seriously, I'm not lying."

Gabby looked at Michael, rolled her eyes and told him to continue eating. When Michael continued eating, Adam felt that he had intruded on their privacy and stepped out of the room.

"I'm taking karate lessons." Gabby suddenly said while drinking tea. The steam indicated that the tea was still hot but Gabby was distracted by her nervousness and still drank it.

"Karate lessons?" Michael asked, frowning. All this time Michael thought that Gabby had already studied karate, considering she made Richard endure severe nosebleeds after she punched him earlier in the field behind the school.

Gabby nodded her head, "Yes. I hope you don't mind if I take karate lessons." She said in a low voice, as if she was afraid Michael would hear it.

"Hey, don't talk like that." Michael said gently.

"I think you look cool even if you take karate lessons or knitting." He added.

Hearing this, Gabby immediately looked away and could feel her heart was about to burst. Gabby thought for a moment and then mustered up the courage to ask, "How about you come with me tomorrow when I take karate lessons?"

"I don't like violence." Michael answered honestly. This morning, just seeing Gabby's bruised cheek made his hand shake violently.

"No problem! Just come with me, then you can sit in the corner of the room to watch me practice." Gabby said excitedly, she put her cup back on the table so quickly that the tea spilled a bit.

The thought of seeing Gabby sweat made Michael's cheeks turn red and finally agreed to the suggestion of the woman sitting in front of him.

-

"Father! Mother! I'll go first, okay!" Gabby shouted from the front door of her house. Her left hand carried a small bag of clothes and a towel, while her right hand was waving towards her mother in the family room.

That afternoon, Gabby wore an orange tracksuit, black shorts, and had her hair tied into a ponytail.

"Be careful, okay!" Her mother softly reminded her.

"Who does she go with?" Asked Gabby's father from the bedroom.

Gabby's mother smiled broadly when she saw her daughter and Michael walking together past their gate.

"Our future son-in-law!" Agnes replied excitedly.

Daniel walked over with a sigh, "Who said that he would be our son-in-law?"

Anges only glanced at him briefly then walked away, ignoring him.

-

Arriving in front of the building where Gabby would take karate lessons, she looked at Michael with sparkling eyes, "Ta-da! This is my new tutoring place!"

Michael watched the building for a moment then nodded his head. Upon entering the building, Gabby immediately approached the man who was standing near the entrance.

"Good afternoon! Today I took my friend to watch me train. Is that okay?" Gabby asked politely.

The man looked at Michael who was standing awkwardly at the door and thought his smooth skin and small face made him look like a girl.

The man then looked back at Gabby and nodded his head, "Of course."

"Please come in." Gabby turned to Michael and chuckled at his confused face. Michael stood up with his hands in the pockets of his jeans, maybe he wanted to look cool but according to Gabby, he looked really ridiculous.

Michael nodded his head and walked behind Gabby. They walked through the many rooms covered by curtains. When they arrived in a room without doors, the old man turned and told Michael to sit on the mat in the corner of the room.

Inside the room, there was only a light blue mattress that covered almost the entire floor. Michael also stepped into the corner of the room and sat down. He bent his legs and then hugged them.

Michael saw the grandfather bent down and ordered all the humans in the room to warm up. He saw Gabby and the others warming up. At times like that, Michael was confused why the girl could still smile so widely.
