Beedrill Vs Scyther (Edited)

The young trainer was Bruno Welts. Many months ago, Axel had won against Bruno in a battle and that was how he got Shedinja. Bruno was the trainer of Shedinja at that time and he discarded it after losing the battle.

When a Pokemon battle is won, a trainer would receive at least 1000 Poke Dollars as winning compensation, but Burno had forgotten to give that money to Axel in the previous fight

"I don't have any time to waste. So why don't we just do 1 vs 1?", asked Axel

"Fine by me."

Both of the trainers got ready to fight and simultaneously both of them threw their Pokeballs.

"Go Scyther !!"

"Go Beedrill !!"

"Szizooorrr"

"Buzzzzz"

Both of the Pokemon announced their presence with their roars

Axel could have used Shedinja and swept the whole party of Bruno right now. Shedinja also wanted to get its revenge but Axel decided against it.

First, it was a good chance for Beedrill to improve itself and revenge was a dish best served cold. He knew that he would get other chances to fight Bruno in later days. He would use Shedinja at that time.

When Bruno saw Axel's Beedrill, he was stupefied. In front of him, stood a Shiny Beedrill which was 11 feet tall. It was the biggest Pokemon he had ever seen.

Axel's Beedrill did garner a lot of attention when it was out. Cause normally, a Beedrill is 3-4 feet but Axel's Beedrill was 3 times a normal Beedrill's size.

This Scyther seemed to be nearing rare ranked and seemed exceptionally powerful. Axel gave an approving nod when he saw Bruno's Scyther. He had thought that he was one of the most talented trainers cause he had never seen anyone as genius as him. But Bruno seemed to be as good as him if he could train his Pokemon to this extent.

"Scyther use 'Gust'"

"Beedrill 'String Shot'"

Both of them fired their attacks. Scyther used 'Gust' but it was not directed at Beedrill but to the ground. Dust arose from the ground when the move hit it. Beedrill dodged the move and used 'String Shot'. Again it was not directed at Scyther but trees around it.

At the same time, Scyther started dancing. Axel knew that it was the 'Swords dance' which increases one's attack and Beedrill without any instruction from Axel used 'Agility'.

This was the new move that it had learned. Shedinja had taught it. 'Agility' increases the speed of the Pokemon without any side effects. Beedrill may be big for its size but it was a fast Pokemon. By using 'Agility' it had significantly increased its speed.

After the initial drama, both of the Pokemon classed, Scyther started with 'Furry cutter' and Beedrill with 'Poison Jab'. 'Furry cutter' would be dangerous if it hits continuously. However, since Beedrill was fast due to its 'agility', only some of it hit it. Scyther was also a fast Pokemon and it was trained like it.

'Poison jab' failed to make any contact with Scyther, so Axel instructed Beedrill to fly high and start using 'electroweb'. Due to the sudden change of pace, 'Electro web' made a hit to Scyther.

"Beedrill, continue to use 'String Shot' around"

And Beedrill did exactly that, It spread 'String Shot' again and also targeted Scyther. Electric-type attacks were super effective against Scyther since it was a Flying type Pokemon. It had paralyzed it and String Shot had made it even more difficult to move. For a few seconds, Scyther could not even move an inch and Beedrill took advantage of it.

"Beedrill, use 'Agility' and Finish up with 'Drill Run'"

Beedrill could use 'Agility' 2 times for now. 'Drill Run' was a powerful move and had high attack power. Axel had expected a tough match against Bruno this time but he was wrong.

Beedrill used 'Agility' again and proceed to use 'drill run' at high speed. Speed also increases the attack power of moves like 'drill run' since it is a physical attack move.

But something unexpected happened.

"Scyther use Steel wing and Bullet punch at full power" shouted Bruno

Scyther did the same as instructed by its trainer. It used 'Steel wing' and tore off the webs and string shots and used Bullet punch at point-blank range to Beedrill.

This was a game-changing move. 'Bullet punch' was a steel-type move and it was a powerful move too. It was a fast move so Scyther got 3 hits in.

It was also hit by Beedrill's 'Drill run'. Both of the Pokemons blasted off a few meters. Beedrill was in much worse condition than Scyther. Technically, Scyther was much more powerful than Beedrill. It was close to achieving rare rank where Beedrill was far from it and Beedrill always lacked move mastery as it just started training in it.

However, Axel's plan had worked. When Scyther got blasted by Beedrill, it got stuck in one of the string shots that Beedrill had put around it. It was unable to properly move for some time and Beedrill took advantage of it.

"Now, do it!!" Shouted Axel

Beedrill started to excrete a massive amount of poison in its drill and the drill started to spin around. It used its speed to rapidly shorten the distance and it is with a powerful jab. This was a combination of 'Poison jab' and 'Drill run' that Beedrill had been practicing.

Combining moves are not as easy as one's thought. Beedrill had been practicing it for weeks to work.

This move was the most powerful move in Beedrill's arsenal and it has hit hard. Scyther flew a certain distance due to the impact and collided with a tree

'BANG'

Was the sound that came.

At this time, Beedrill was already out of stamina. Using its signature moves multiple times with 'agility' had drained it. Just as Axel was celebrating their victory, Scyther slowly stood up.

"Sci.. Scytherr" it said weakly. At the last movement, Bruno had let it use 'Endure'. So it could stand up right now.

"You win. I know Scyther could not handle another attack again." said Bruno retrieving his Pokeball and calling back Scyther.

Axel also called back Beedrill in its Pokeball. Bruno gave 2000 Poke Dollars to Axel and shook his hand.

"You are a good trainer Axel. But I will beat you up one day. Let's meet again if fate decides.", said Bruno

Axel nodded his head and both of them went their ways.
