The fifth victim

It was suspected before that someone must be leaking the information about the cases handled by Mr. Dayal. This seems to be happening with miss Nair as well. Each move they made had its consequences too and it was visible now. 

Mr. Hussain's death was rather a break for them to move onto something else for a while and in the time being there has been a new murder case. The guy really behind all this must have really kept their eyes on the team all the time. 

"The body has been found with a slit throat and cut marks on her wrists but I have a feeling that this case has something to do with our previous cases. " Miss Nair explained. 

"Is there anything in common?" Sam asked. As per the calculation this should be his fifth murder. 

"Yes."Miss Nair showed the pictures of the marks on the victim's wrist which was left from several cuts with a sharp object. Perhaps a knife or razor according to the photos.
