We saw everything

After having a deliberate discussion on their next plan they were finally at ease. This time they decided to make the driver and the housekeeper face each other. They were the only prime suspects that these officers could find, till now.

"Are we showing them the clips? " Jake asks, as soon as he enters the room to see the set up. Everything was rightly connected to their own places.

"We got no other choice. Besides, Dayal's order! " Sid says with a wink.

"Where are the others? We came out of the canteen together. "

"They are still stuck in the entrance. "

"Why? " Jake asks without knowing what he meant.

"Oh you don't know? We have a new guard outside. He is checking on everyone as he's new. " Sid says and hands a plug to Jake.

Jake was clueless of what to do with it so he tossed it on the table only to be glared at by Sid.

"But I did not see him. "Jake adds with the intention to change the topic.

"He must have gone for a short break. "He reaches for the plug.

Before Jake could say something else Sid says" How… how is it leaving with… I mean in the same place with Sam? "

"Just feels like how it feels to be at home! "

He replies with a smirk.

"What? "

"I mean the apartment is good and I don't need to worry about the distance from the office. It's close to this place.So overall I am satisfied. "

"Oh"he says without looking at Jake but still concentrating on his work which was already done.

"And why are you asking me all this?"Jake notes how he was playing with those tools.

He was fidgeting.

" It's nothing. I just.. "Sid was interrupted by the clicking sound of the door knob.

" Is everything ready? They are here. "Sam says, entering the room along with Mon.

" Where is Mr. Dayal? "

Jake asks.

"He will be here soon along with the driver. Loy will not join us most probably. " Mon says.

The door opens to reveal Dayal and the driver just beside him. He was told to sit in front of the screen.

Soon, the housekeeper enters and the moment he sees the driver he pauses.

"What? You know him, don't you? "Sid asks.

" No… no. Why would I know him? "

"Oh okay. Relax, take a seat. We have got something to show you" Dayal says as he pushes him to sit closer to the driver.

The driver seemed normal. He might actually not know him. But for the housekeeper, it was obvious by his reaction.

"Start now. " Dayal orders.

The video played making the two suspects flinch at once as if they were not expecting to see this. Well, obviously they were not ready for it.

"It seems like you two know this place? "Dayal asks, leaning close towards the chair where they were seated.

" I don't know "they say in unison. The driver's voice was shaky whereas the housekeeper seemed to be confident with his answer.

" Stop lying already, will you? "Jake says.

" I'm not.. Not lying. "The driver speaks.

"Then what is the truth? " Sid asks.

"The truth is….I don't know who killed the lawyer, I don't know how it all happened, how I ended up this way? Let me leave, I have no idea what all these are. " He says with his eyes almost watery.

"Get him a glass of water. " Dayal asks.

Sam immediately brings in some water and hands it to him. He snatches the glass and drinks as if he has not drunk for ages.

"Slow down. "

"Now what about you? Do you know who killed the lawyer? " Sid asks the housekeeper.

"I don't know either. "

"Then what if I say we got all the proofs against you. You won't be able to escape this time. " Jake states.

"We saw everything. You two were the one who made this whole plan. " Dayal adds.

"What? " They say.

"Yes, we now know how you two planned this all to kill the lawyer. You were keeping an eye on everything he did just to get an opportunity.Then when you knew Kunal asked for an ambulance,that was it. What can it be? Aah….. You were all after his money. Then at the end you two stabbed him and looted everything in the house. "

Dayal says.

"No! " They said in unison. This time both of them were nervous.

This was decided from the very beginning. It was simple. No one can take a blame they had never committed or been a part of. However,if they are nervous they are undoubtedly the doers.

"Yes! That's what you two did. " Dayal shouts releasing echoes to the entire room.

"It's not true. " The housekeeper said.

"It is. Now just wait to get inside the jail. " Sam said.

"I have not killed.. "

The driver was interrupted by the other suspect.

"It can't be. We did not do this. "

"We? " Dayal says.

"Aah.. I mean.. "

"Speak!"

Before the housekeeper could run Jake grabs him by his collar and makes him sit at the same place.

"What do you take this place for? " Dayal asked, seeing his absurdity.

"I just…. "

"Think it through. If you don't tell us now let's meet in the court! " Jake says.

They could clearly see how impatient and anxious they looked. There were no more eyes looking straight into their faces.

"I will tell everything. But sir, please leave my family! " The driver finally blurted.

The housekeeper glanced at him, completely pissed by his sudden confession.

"No one's family will feel proud of a criminal house member. You should have known this before agreeing to do such things! Mon says.

" I didn't know that I would be doing this. I don't even know that the lawyer was killed. It's only when you all mentioned it previously."

"What happened in the tunnel?" Jake said with a grim face.

"I was on my way to take the patient. There was another person with me. "

"You did not mention him earlier. "

"That's because I was worried he would tell the truth. He didn't do anything but was just a witness. "

"A witness is as wrong as a criminal. " Dayal says.

"He… he was with me all the time. We took the tunnel road because it takes less time. The hospital staff use that road often. However, we were stopped midway! "

"As expected " Mon utters.
