I see everyone saying this was their first work, but the work in question looks like it was made by a seasoned writer with a clear story in mind. I tried my first work, but it was a total failure, at least not yet. I just don't write a lot, since most of the time, I am usually thinking about all the background information, the planning of the future, designing a system for magic and the like, et cetera. The writing is not as hard as I only write 2,500-3,000 words. I started my story with only a handful of story plotting as I want the story to be completely random. I see a lot of stories with lots of plot armor, getting an item to use in the future, basically all of the things that make you say, "Totally planned." or "What a coincidence." I want my story to be random, so basically if I make the MC get an item because of something, the item could be totally useless. It's like a real game. In a game, you don't always use the items you get, you may get killed, you don't have god-like luck, it's unpredictable, but I underestimated how hard it would be. Does anyone have any advice or maybe a tip, I would really appreciate it.
