"Padgett's accident has nothing to do with Ethan, but I can't live in the Rowe family as the wife of the murderer's son. I feel guilty for Padgett every day in the Rowe family. Ethan knew my mind and agreed. I know you've always been a little resentful of me because you think I've been favoring and defending the Rowe's. In fact, I really don't care if I'm the wife of a rich man or not. The happiest days in my life are the period of time when I was with you and your father.
