Chapter 67 - Mad Dash

The man stepped forward, holding the rifle tightly in hand.

Reya gripped tightly onto the crossbow and threateningly pointed at them. "Don't come close, I will shoot," she whispered.

The man glanced at her bow, then at her with a silly grin. "Little girl, you think your arrow is faster or my bullet. Don't be silly now, come near." He said loudly, gesturing for the other guy to come forward.

The other man who had black hair and a long beard stepped behind her, caging her from all sides. He plucked the crossbow from her hands forcefully.

"Lead us to the nest," the black-haired man whispered.

Reya glanced back at him and scoffed. "There is no nest. But the bird is right above you. You can find its nest by following it,"

The man holding the gun stepped closer suddenly and nudged her forehead with the barrel. "Don't play with us, kid. Tell us where the nest is," he shouted out loud, startling the little blue bird.
