Chapter 64 - The Bird Of Paradise

Outside their test room, Reye and her new friends peacefully sat down next to the familiar tree and opened their lunch. It was simple peanut butter sandwich for her. Haily had brought some croissants, and Jaiye simply had a bun.

Reya cheerfully chewed on her sandwich, enjoying the salty and sweet taste of peanuts. A small dollop of peanut butter dribbled on her clothes. She wiped it with her index finger and licked it clean. Sudden all she could think about was Clive. 'What is Clive doing right now? Is he having his lunch? Peanut butter is his favourite after all.' she thought of the times when Clive used to chomp down spoon full of the peanut butter and softly chuckled.

"He seems like a funny guy, your boyfriend," a childish voice whispered next to her, bringer her out of her reverie.
