I'd like to say this is an interesting read... but I'd be lying. the first hundred or so chapters are nice and consistent, man reincarnated as his younger self with a system to change a dismal future. Problem being the author forgets how the character is from arc to arc. The prime example is that the mc in school constantly warns his naive classmates that the monstrous wilds are not a playground. Yet as soon as he is thrust into the wilds the mc adopts his classmates attitudes. 'Were all humans we shouldn't be fighting each other!!!' Yet he warns his classmates of EXACTLY this sort of thing. Do yourselves a favor, don't spend coins on this TRASH.

story starts as typical travel to past with a system in apocalypse novel, but with nerfs. then it continues as typical xianxia, just to change to some kind of mystery novel. authors is making lots of plotholes and then forcibly explains them later in story with twisted logic. for someone who is reincarnated into past MC is really stupid. instead of getting help, he tries to do everything solo... fate of the whole city hangs on his knowledge, but he must be in front lines every single time there is a disaster. what ticks me the off most is when there is ultra time sensitive danger MC has to write an essay to other characters explaining his logic for running away. also the philosophical discussions with enemies about class divide between superhumans and normals. it is just rinse and repeat. every time enemies get caught they have to justify their betrayal and every time reason is the same (with slight differences). and world background just doesnt make sense... whole city transmigrated to other planet, having zombie apocalypse, viruses abound, monsters attacking and in just 50 years they have population of tens of millions. even if city had 50 million people when it transmigrated i doubt that 1 in 100 could survive initial 10 years. food intake that even 1 million city needs everyday is enormous, not to mention bigger cities.

This novel have an Overlord type. The Mc have a villain side. If only it will have an anime adaptation because it is so good that it stoke my excitement after three years of reading webnovels.. and oh, this is not your face slapping, it is more like a clash intelligent monsters and human, and collision of principles and morals which is my favorite..... .

I don't use spoiler tags because from my experience, people usually think it's filled with spam trash. Anyways. Dragon City and a few surrounding cities were suddenly isekai'd into another world. MC is born in Dragon City a few decades after the isekai. He lives in a somewhat poor family with a cripple mother, hardworking father, and demon (literally) little sister. This novel is filled with nationalism. Not chinese nationalism, but Earth Nationalism. The oldies that survived the isekai spread ideals of how Earth was cultured and civilized, and not to deteriorate into a typical wuxia world, they tried their best to maintain their human behaviors. Needless to say this goes completely wrong and right at the same time. The author loves to challenge MC's moral and ethical views on what makes a human with other very interesting characters. For example. If a human becomes a supernatural human that are able to cultivate are they still humans? If a human does genetic experiments to themselves with the parts of a monster, are they still a human? What makes a human? The plot is that the MC suffered many injustices before regressing with a mysterious system. And don't be alarmed, this isn't an omnipotent system that's been pulled from the ass of the author, but there's a moderately reasonable explanation for it. MC also doesn't have all the memories of his first time. Author says it's because the amount of memories suddenly surging into MCs brain would make it go boom, or something. I can understand with my limited IQ. Anyways in the future, dragon city and humanity takes multiple huge L's. MC doesn't like that, and MC family pretty much dies in the future too. MC tries his best with broken future memories, he's cautious, smart and reliable. Trying his best to protect his family, friends and humanity. However, MC has a personality problem, since he has two lives of memories, he is sometimes like a coldblooded killer and sometimes a naïve teen. It makes sense in the later chapters. You'll get annoying with MC's naïve views, but it gets better. The world is filled with violence and plots. Who is the enemy? No one knows. This is what MC has to find out, and save humanity. But what if the enemy was humanity?

MC develops, grows, and his enemies aren't one-dimensional, they can turn into allies too. Solid novel, vote for it... lest they drop it.............

disappointing, the mc is a classic return back to the past with a cheat, yet somehow with his experience he was unable to utilize his advantage. sandwiched between the idea of being discreet, yet at the same time losing his shit over arguments with children. The FaceSlapping was not at all cool, the mysterious attitude did not attract curiosity, and most of all the MC didnt seem like he had any plan of how to proceed with his growth even with all his knowledge.

I love the MC's progression so far. He started out with the mindset of staying on the sidelines while giving out future knowledge while staying away from any limelight. That slowly changes to him diving deep into the struggles and heroics into creating the abilities he came to know as common place in the future. He see's selfless sacrifice, he shows genuine maturity which coincides with a regressor. He has gotten in plenty of situations where he could face slap a young master and make an enemy, only to instead, turn that person into a friend and companion. Great story.

this book reminds me of those book during the first and second years since webnovel was made. its really awesome and i really hope that this book would also have an anime adaptation like the "king's avatar" because really this would be a hit if there is an anime or even a comic. i hope the author and translators will continue to write this book till the end😊

at first you'll be surprised with the non-cliche humour and "humanity uniting to a common goal" in this novel...but be WARNED: in the latter parts of the story, the author would stuff at least 150 chapters here and there with filler content that is so diabolical as philosophical essays. Yup, we're talking about at least 45 chapters straight of philosophy on ethics, humanity and morality mixed with one or two sentences at each chapter about actual plot. it's so diabolical that you can't even skip it because the next chapter won't even make sense. it's so frustrating since the TL work is actually very good but web novel has just given the TL a trashy novel.

Amazing story. He isn't overpowered in an exaggerated way and the system element is not done in the usual manner. The story is fleshed out really well and the author has tied many plot points together with parts in the start of the story continuing to be relevant 100s of chapters later. No silly unexplainable powerups either. MUST READ!

This story suffers from pacing issues. You think your getting to the hype part of the story and then there is a ten chapter long aside which does nothing to advance the plot and kills all the excitement you had.

I just love the concept of this novel and the development of the srory so far meets my expectations. Really good translation quality. So far stable and dayly updates. The background universe is really good and has potential for further development without being curently hazy. Only characters design may not be to the liking of everyone but is pretty decent. This review is clearly not the best but I only bother myself to write good and complete reviews to exlain where a novel is bad when it is, but here I simply love this how it is.

Can be filler-ish but it's a fun read. Especially the younger dark witch sister as she's getting bully by MC. So far it's a little slow in progression but as long as its tasteful to me, it doesnt really affect my enjoyment in reading the story.
