The more I think about this, the weirder it seems they don't have unions: if you have a disgruntled work force that can't be replaced, and the workers are used to risking their lives, you'd think demanding better wages in the face of inequality would be inevitable. Like, the harvesters were literally noted as doing that kind of thing if the company they worked for proved too abusive, so it's weirdly inconsistent that there's no effort at actual organization.
Yes Meng Chao, talk some sense into your brother. Just because a person doesn't understand doesn't always mean a person should condemn. We can stick to our opinions just as much as others can stick to theirs. But I wonder why Meng Chao's decision to talk it out with Brother Lin cause him to be more agitated. That would be bad.
