normally an MC of a Chinese novel won't escape a town unless he finished all the evil young masters and became the boss of that town and then go to the next level city but now and since this town is the last level city in this town and MC cheated by taking a shortcut(through the Vermillion realm and silver City) to reach this place, he needs now to raise his level and have the minimal level to fight the other young masters and their clans and their masters. I really like how author is slapping Chinese Novels and still using stereotype arcs to slap the whole Chinese novel community đđđ
Gah, there is no trust! *sighs* Being not able to trust anyone and lacking in power is a SERIOUSLY bad combination. So Shun Long either has to find trustworthy support, or retreat (though I have a bad feeling, like retreat is not good). Maybe he could seclude himself in the Alchemist guild - those guys are "outside" of the fight between the Nightstar continent and Demon Emperor Palace. He can stay with his wife and cultivate inside the Stone of Time. Going to the Villa is no good as the Envoy from the Demon Emperor Palace is there (likely with retinue). Rather finding an ancient battle field would be better for Death Dao advances.
