Why is the mc behaving in a way that he is unaware of the marvel storyline? I guessing the author is trying to show that the mc has immersed himself completely with this life... It isnt a comic anymore.. It's real, the people are real and actions however small can change outcomes.. There was no surety of the same things happening? Is that it author san? The issue with this would be the inconsistency... Sometimes the authors actions portray his assuredness in the marvel time line... If he is going to go all guilty on uncle Ben make sure he interferes on other occasions as we rather than being sure his of his marvel knowledge... Because clearly the mc isn't sure of his marvel knowledge...

just let the story go one will be spider man as after you leave uncle Ben gives him a speech about how you had the power to save him and you did when he sees the despondent look on peters face
