I love the characterization in n.v this chapter. Not only is Alice becoming more desperate to become stronger ,but her grief had her make a stupid decision in magic class. And she barely recovered, by the time she had her weapon's class. Her determination is now rock solid. One last thing, the moment at the end of the chapter where she, Oreo, and Cynthia all just talk and wish each other a good night is so wholesome. I think it's great that while Oreo's and Cynthia's characterization is a slow burn, it's still going to pay off in the end.
