17 Winter Break
After a long months of autumn, comes a freezing cold winter. Every university in the country had thier winter break.
A two month break that starts from December to January.
December is a fairly cold month, wherein the surrounding Himalayan peak turns white because of unending snowfall.
The trees and suburbs around the mountain is full of snow.
Animals during this season hides in thier burrows underground. Rabbits hibernates while birds nestled in thier nests.
A season where the temperature turns zero degrees during nightfall. The people are lucky that during daytime it is not as freezing cold.
Xie Yuan and the twins happily play in the snow outside their apartment.
Two years ago, Zhang Lin painstakingly built her and the twins a small house near the research institute. They live in this house during school break and transfer to Lounjeng apartment during school days. Her cousin graduated one year ago and is now in another country doing research. Qing Chu also graduated and is now in City A practicing her profession. She's only left with the twins and a kind auntie who Zhang Lin left to take care of her and the twins.
"Mommy, I made Olaf."Yan Yan happily shouts. Her small body is full of snowfalls. Her baby is lively and energetic since young.
Olaf is a famous Disney character whom her twins love the most.
"Wow, let's put some carrots in him."She suggested as she look at the two big and small snowman.
"Mom, I've got some carrots here." Yun Yun shouts from inside thier home. He come out holding two small carrots. He give one to his sister and the two both happily put it on the snowman. The harmony between the two is a sight to behold.
Xie Yuan happily took some picture of the twins. The three of them also take selfies as the snowfall hits thier happy face.
Auntie Shan, who is currently inside the house also joined the fun.
This is the year where snowfall is falling all day round. Unlike last year that it only snows twice in the whole two months.
After an hour of playing in the cold snow, they finally enter the house to warm their cold feet and hand. While auntie Shan entered the kitchen to prepare thier lunch.
"Mom, I want to play again tomorrow."Yan Yan said while nestling in her embrace.
"We cannot play again or we'll catch cold."Yun Yun contradicted his sister. He also nestled himself in her embrace.
She can't help but hug the two tightly. She is happy that she got to have this two lovely kids. They are not only lovely but also sensible and kind.
"Little Yun is right, we can't play in the snow for long. Mother don't want you two to catch a cold."she said and the two nodded thier heads. She really loved her childrens.
A mother's love is sure the best love in this world.
Their lunch is serve with a warm smile and a happy ambiance.
In city A, snowfalls are a rare sight to see as the city is far away from the mountains.
Street childrens happily play and make a little snowman. The happiness on this children's faces are priceless. No matter how poor and cold they we're they savor every moment of thier lives.
In a prestigious hospital of the Xie's, Mr. Xie sadly look at the falling snow outside his window. The cold snow makes his heart flicker.
'Yuan Er, I hope your doing well. I'm sure your grandparents will treat you well.'
He sadly reminisce the times where he slashed her. As a father it is painful for him to know that his only daughter got violated in her young age.
He now have his intuition that his daughter is framed and set up. If only he knows it before. He would've never slap and hurt his daughter.
For now, he needs to unravel thier true intentions before he act. Whoever dares to hurt his daughter will not escape from him.
"My wife I sorry I've let you and our daughter down. I promise to make things right."he whispered.
Unbeknownst to him that someone is listening from the shadows.
This man is tasked to report Mr. Xie's every move to the mother and daughter pair.
"He still think about that useless b*tch. Hmmmph, go and inquire Xie Yuan's province. Let's see how that b*tch will be save this time."
"Yes Madame, this young master will now go to do his task."
"Don't forget to complete your daily task before you go inquiring."Mrs. Xie reminded him while giving him another bottle of medicine.
"I've got this from City S and no one can notice it unless they're from City S. The only antidote for this is also rare and available only in that place." Mrs. Xie said.
Country S is a smallest province located at the mountains near the border of China. The people are specialized in making poisons as part of thier daily living. They used poisons when they are hunting as it can easily kill thier prey.
They are also proficient in poisoning people. Rumors say that this people can live and kill people as long as they want. Especially those who wants to invade thier territory.
Mrs. Xie and Xie Jing are part of this place. Poisons are part of thier lives.
"Put more dosage of this to his drink. You can now go and don't come to see this Madame unless it's not important."Mrs. Xie commanded like a true Madame.
"Yes, Madame."the young man replied. If doing this can make his beloved Xie Jing to finally notice him. He is wholeheartedly willing.
Meanwhile, in the Ye's territory, Mother Ye and Ye Yun Jue argued non-stop.
Mother Xie who is now cured from her fifteen year disease got her body back to normal. Her beautiful face has now it's rosy color. Her eyes looks lively and happy.
Thanks to Ye Yun Jue curing her two years ago. But her stubborn son didn't fulfill his promise to her after she is cured. It has been two years that she is continuously urging him to marry but his stubborn son refuses over and over again.
"Jue Er, I really like that daughter of Doctor Xie, Miss Xie Jing. I hope you can reconsider her."she suggests but the latter just immersed himself playing his zither.
"Mom, this son doesn't plan to marry again."He said as soon as he finish his last note. How can he marry again when he is still married from that Xie family true young Miss. That marriage two years ago is for his mother's cure.
"How come you don't want to marry? This old hag is old enough I want some grandchildren to play with."Mother Ye helplessly bawl. She didn't notice how her son uses again in his words.
"Mom, just fucos on improving your health and let Xuan Er give you a grandchild."he loudly said causing the silent Ye Chen Xuan who is currently eating in the dining room to complain loudly.
"This young man is listening. How can you slander me like this? Big brother I will tell father you're hurting mom again." Xuan shouts from the dining room. He and his mother is currently in the living room playing music.Their father is in their medicinal field tending precious herbs as winter will be long and the plants needs special attention to survive the winter.
