Unexpected feelings

Dazzle said, "Yes. David. We have to go through his things."

Lisa asked, "We all know about David only after he revealed that he wasn't Thoma.

So the mysterious sniper is also David.

That is we must start from the old building where our mystery of David started. Right?"

Noah nodded and said, "Absolutely right. We must start from the old building.

But the thing is after David died, we informed the police department to take action at the old building.

That is most of the things there are cleared already."

Dazzle thought deeply and said, "We will check the old building once and then let's go to the police station.

There, We will ask all the reports and seized properties from the old building.

If we still didn't find the key, we go to the place where I was kidnapped. Okay?"

Everyone nodded. KL stopped and said, "Why don't we divide the work among us? It may take less time.

I, along with Lisa will go to the old building while Dazzle and Noah go to the police station."

Everyone nodded and left to their venue. Lisa and KL were in the old building.

Lisa and KL searched all the rooms in the old building.

Lisa said, "Not here...Oof! Not here too."

KL said, "I checked the top floor...no." Lisa replied, "Not here too."

Lisa and KL searched for a few more hours and then informed to Dazzle and Noah that the key wasn't found yet.

Meanwhile, Noah and Dazzle went through all the furniture and things kept in the police station from the old building.

They also went through the reports of the people found dead in the old building.

Noah said, "A diamond ring, towel...No. Dazzle! No glimpse of the key here." Dazzle replied, "Same here."

Dazzle continued, "Guess...we have to go there..." Noah nodded.

Dazzle and Noah were walking in a silent alley to meet up with Lisa and KL.

Dazzle said, "There they are..." pointing at Lisa and KL who was leaning against a wall looking at the floor.

They were waiting for Dazzle and Noah. Lisa said, "So can we leave?"

Dazzle nodded and everyone got inside their car. KL drove the car. Lisa said, "I am taking a nap. It's far away."

Noah was busy going through some official papers.

Dazzle was tired but she wanted to give company to KL who was driving the car and didn't want to sleep.

KL said, "Dazzle...take rest." Dazzle said, "Nah...so how long does it take to reach there? You are a pretty slow driver."

KL suddenly accelerated the car giving Dazzle a sudden heart attack. Dazzle screamed, "AHHH. Dude...please ...Drive safely."

KL chuckled but immediately gulped noticing half woken upped Lisa glaring at him.

Noah just murmured angrily. KL asked a small sorry and drove the car.

They finally reached the old rusty house. Dazzle remembered David carrying her inside.

She sighed brushing away thoughts of David.

Everyone went in a different direction in search of the key.

Dazzle looked at the room where she was locked and searched for the key but she couldn't find it.

Dazzle know where the key was but she was so hesitant to go there.

She knew that the key will be at the place where Dazzle kissed David or the place where David died.

Dazzle took a deep breath and walked inside the room. As soon as she entered it, her body felt so heavy. She couldn't walk.

Her hands and legs started to shiver. Her lips trembled.

Dazzle suddenly heard "Miss me, baby?" Dazzle widened her eye and looked around but realised she was imagining it.

She was imagining David's presence around her.

Dazzle tried concentrating on finding the key but she started to hear overlapping voices of David.

"Miss me, baby?" "I know you love me."

"Are you alright?" "Did you do this?"

"Eat it Dazzle." "Nice pendant."

"You are mine." "I need you."

Dazzle started to breathe irregularly. She started to cry loudly hearing David's voice repeatedly.

She knew she missed David but she never thought that she missed him at the extent of going insane.

Dazzle felt David's arm around her all of the sudden. She started to scream without having any control over herself.

She saw a glimpse of some shining metal. She knew what it was. She took it in her hand and held the key tight.

She started having a very bad headache. She slowly lost her balance and fell with a thud.

Lisa was searching for the key in a room. She saw many love letters written by David to Dazzle.

Lisa said, "Aww...so sweet. He should have used these letters to win her heart." Lisa sighed.

She was so mesmerised by the letter written by David that she didn't hear Dazzle's scream but when she noticed Noah and KL running, she followed them.

They opened a room and saw Dazzle lying down fainted and pale.

Later,

Dazzle woke up rubbing her eyes. She was in a hospital. Dazzle sighed remembering what happened back at the old rusty house.

Dazzle blinked back a few teardrops that threatened to come out.

Dazzle said, "Yah psycho...Look what you did to me.

You made me go crazy a moment ago. Oof...I never thought I will regret your death."

Lisa said, "Things change just like how time does."

Dazzle nodded and said, "Sorry." Lisa shook her head and said, "You got the key. Don't worry.

The doctor said that this is normal. You are just depressed. You should have talked about all your feeling with any of us."

Dazzle said, "It sounded weird and unbelievable. I didn't believe this.

My heart kept on telling me but my mind strongly denied."

Lisa said, "Dazzle...Our heart likes anyone who gives us comfort at the worst time of our life.

Comfort doesn't only come by saying soft words. Liam got your warmth just by looking at you.

You got comfort from Liam and his protection. David made you feel comfortable but we misunderstood it has uncomfortable."

Dazzle nodded and sighed saying, "I was so shocked when I imagined hearing his voice.

It felt like he was around me...staring at me with his dark eyes.

I even felt like he was smirking. I had a small hope that he was alive."

Lisa nodded and hugged Dazzle who started to cry at words describing David.

Dazzle said, "My love is always Liam but I just regret not understanding David and his motives.

If he had correctly approached us, things would have been easier."

"Much easier." Lisa nodded accepting it.
