Well now I understand why Jaime's beatings weren't just for his defeat, I guess Tywin broke the news to the twins before he gave it to Lancel. On the other hand, Lancel will get rid of Margaery for the time being, as I doubt that Olleana will let him go without a fight. On the good side, I know that Joffrey was always a bad brother to Tommen and Myrcella, so if Lancel goes to King's Landing, I don't think he will allow this behavior towards his fiancee and with it maybe he will gain appreciation and later Myrcella's affection.

Good lord... Tywin and Joanna were cousins, Cersei and Jaime are brother and sister and Lancel and Myrcella are close together as well. I hope biology is wonky in this world since i doubt their child would appreciate a hapsburg jaw.

Lancel was born at the start of 282 and Mrycella was born in the middle of 288.

Another great chapter, this will probably throw a wrench into his plans so i am exited to see how Lancel will adapt to this and turn it into his advantage. But this is also a good thing as it pretty much confirms to everyone that he WILL be the future lord of casterly rock. I doubt that anyone will think otherwise as there's no chance the king or the queen would marry the princess to a second born without lands. In fact i kinda expect tywin to make the announcement of his new Heir together with king. VERY exited to see what comes next. Maybe a time skip to the start of the show with a resume to what happen in the years in between? Can't wait for the next chapter.

Not a bad pairing politically speaking. It ties House Lannister even closer to the Throne in Tywin's eyes, and marriage between cousins is the norm in Westeros.

This is great! Lancel avoids he Tyrell's machinations but gets Kings Landings instead. Marcella is also a great character, the opposite of Cersei, making her good Queen Video. This adds an interesting option of adding a coup d'état against Joeffrey and his shrew of a mother.

YES! Nice paring Lancel(MC) x Myrcella, I love it! She has a good head on her shoulders, is kind and has a lot of potential where she could grow at the MC's side. She was given a terrible fate in the TV series, so I am really looking forward to a better future for her. Is she going to stay at Casterly Rock? It would make sense, so she can learn what is expected of her as his betrothed and they would have time to get to know each other. He would also have more time to teach and broaden her horizons on everything from things like the bath houses etc. he talked with Tyrion about, or his work with the army and advancement of the Westerlands. She is smart and has some cunning in her, and just needs the chance to bloom!

I never thought about it but this does make the most sense for a marriage that Cersei would approve of and just tying the lannisters to the throne even more. Also if he wants to have nobody lnow about Cersei/Jamie he should somehow someway get all the books about the houses traits edit them so in some instances lannister blood with baratheon did have blonde hair and green eyes
