I don't know what is happening with that 'uncle'. He seemed to recognise the child so it could be that maybe the child is genuinely from his family and was for some reason or other taken from them. There is also the possibility that the child has something unique in his body since they mentioned that they didn't find what they wanted but found a treasure instead. Either way, he did kill the child's family so we at least know that he is dangerous.
