Reunited With My Friends-Part 1

Miracle's POV

I arrived at the creek panting, and I am no longer crying; the sunrise makes my heart feel warm, and though I can feel the pains in my heart nature made me realized that there is always happiness after the pain, laughter after the tears. The sunrise gives me hope and total understanding that I should pick up myself and be strong. Even the darkness will fade the moment, the break of the day sets in. I don't need anyone to define who I am because I am already Miracle White, and I am forever proud of being Thomas White's daughter.

I throw feeble in the crystal water, I can indeed see the small fishes swimming in the water. I breathe and sighed heavily, I will give you Jace King his medicine, yet he will never get affected by whatever I do to hurt him because he said it on my face, he will never like me. I made a promise in front of the creek that I will forget him, whatever it takes. I need to live my life according to me, not to him. Does he think I am stupid? Yeah, I had been a total idiot for showing to him I am in love with him.

I lead back to the manor after an hour of self-meditation. My spirit is still so low, but it doesn't matter, at least I felt a little better. I just walk in going back, I got lazy, I just want to go back to sleep when I come back, but there are many things I needed to do. I don't know if it was because of my emotional outbreak or because of the energy that I lost, why I suddenly felt so hungry. I can smell bacon and eggs and I can feel my mouth is watering just thinking about the food. My grandmother knows how to tempt me to eat. I eat a light breakfast; I prefer fruits mixed with a vegetable smoothie or just bread and milk or yogurt, but here in my grandma's kitchen I am always tempted to have a heavy breakfast.

The minute I get inside the dining room I was shocked to find Jaxson and Jace eating breakfast together, I turn around quickly before my grandma can see me because her back was on me; I go to my bedroom and I had a half-day off. I can't face Jace as of the moment because I am still angry with him. I spend the remaining morning writing notes on what are the things needed for the rental guest houses; I make my time useful since I wasn't in the mood to be seen with my mortal enemy.

Lunchtime came and I can't stand the hunger that I felt. I have to face them no matter what, next time I will ask my grandma to let them eat ahead of time, I wanted to take my lunch a little late, yet I can't stop my hunger anymore. And I am right, the two men I don't want to see are already chatting with my granny while eating their meal. They are at home, I just hope they didn't get along, but I can tell they became close to each other judging by listening to how they communicate with each other.

"Miracle, why you didn't eat breakfast this morning?" Grandma Amelia asked the moment I sit on the dining chair.

"I have some important to do grandma. It" I said, and I started putting food on my plate and I felt conscious because I am sitting in the opposite direction from them. I looked down at my plate the whole time. I avoided looking at any of them, then after eating I stand up and left the dining hall after saying goodbye to my granny.

"I went outside to go to the stable and spend some time with the mare, Calm when I saw an approaching vehicle. I am wondering if we have walked in guests who want to tour around the vineyard and the winery. I waited for them to come out from the car when I heard the newcomers scream at me and calling my name.

"Miracle! Miracle!" I am shocked, and I almost forgot that I begged my father to send Stella and Chad to my grandma's estate to help me set up the vacation home of the manor. I wasn't able to move, and they both run in my direction and I cried when they both hugged me and I realized I needed friends at this time of my life.

"Hey! Why are you weeping?" Stella asked.

"Aren't you happy to see us?" Chad seconded.

"I am so overjoyed to meet you, guys, that is why I am crying." I said in between my sobs, I felt Stella wiped my tears away, and I am so delighted to see them both. Stella looks so gorgeous wearing a knee-length floral off the shoulder dress, while Chad looks so cool wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts.

"I never know, you are such a cry baby, girl you have to tell us all your secrets, I almost collapse when the marketing manager called our attention and informed us that Thomas White was looking for us and demands to talk to us, can you imagine the owner of the White empire needs to have a word with us? And I almost peed on my skirt when he notified us you were his only daughter." Stella responded, and I can't keep myself from smiling.

"Yeah! Until now, we are still on cloud nine, I never imagine that I am going to meet the future owner of the company we work for how much more to become her friend, I am so flattered Mira and thank you for choosing us to be here with you." Chad declared. 

"Wow! Your grandma's mansion is huge, and I can't imagine how big is your estate." Stella added.

"Thank you for coming, you made me so happy, to be honest, you are my only friends." I said, and I can see the forehead of Chad wrinkled.

"I think we have many things to talk about." Stella said.

"Yes! There are so many things I need to tell and before anything else I wish to say sorry for lying to you guys, I wanted to confess to you who I am, but my father ordered me not to. I don't have a choice but to adhere to his conditions." I apologized to them.

"Miracle Mr. White, your father explained all to us, and he ordered us to be here with you. Tada! Here we are, we will do anything we can to help the heiress of the White Empire." Chad said.

"Did my dad mentioned I don't want to be called like that?" I asked Chad.

"Yup, and I'm sorry I am just so excited about everything and until now, it seems like a dream to see you in person and to be your friend." Chad answered.

" It is okay, I am just kidding." I replied and smiled at Chad.

" Please come inside and I will introduce you to my granny." I spoke, but before we can get inside, grandma Amelia, together with Jace And Jaxson got out of the house.

"Jace!" They both exclaimed, and hug Jace.

"We miss you, Jace, you didn't even text or call us, now I see why this whole place is paradise." Stella said.

"I am sorry, guys, my schedule became so hectic." Jace replied, and I avoided his gazed and I know he is trying his best to stare at me, but I won't allow him to win this time and I will make it sure he will crawl to me one day and I will cause him to realize what a fool he has been.

"Stella, Chad, this is my grandma Amalia and Jaxson, these are my friends, and they are also trainees of the White marketing department, Jaxson is the site engineer of the guest house." I introduce them and I can see the way they study at Jax. They are appraising him like he is a jewel in a pawnshop.

"Nice to meet you Jax, and I am single 100% as of the moment." Stella mumbled, and it made Jax and my grandma snort, but I can feel Jaxson is staring at me the whole time.

"I am unmarried too." Chad said while he shakes Jax's hand, and he purposely holds his fist longer than necessary.  That caused them to laugh, even more, I can say Chad is now beginning to show his true identity, and I am happy for him.

"You better bring them to the dining hall, Miracle, for sure they are hungry and tired from their flight." Grandma said, and the housemaid prepared the food.

"Why you didn't inform me you are coming!" I said.

"To surprise you. You shocked us big time by not telling us your actual identity. We didn't know you were using your mother's family name. So, how are you doing Ms. White?" Stella asked, and she sounded so formal, I know she did it to annoy me.

"Stop that, please." I begged.

"And why didn't you tell me when you called, you have a hot engineer here? I can't believe they surround you with attractive males around here." Stella declared.

"Wait until you see my other Elite bodyguards," I said.

"Wow! I doubt how good-looking they are, they informed us Jace is your bodyguard, no wonder he is always watching out for you, but it seems he is also falling for you." Chad said.

"Chad, I want you to know Jace has a fiancee and they look perfect for each other.

"So that is why you look so down and unhappy?" Chad replied.

"Yes! I won't lie to you anymore, you eat first and don't worry, I will tell you everything and there is one more thing I wish to share with you because I want you two to remain friends with me forever that is why no more secrets." I said, and I can't keep my tears from falling.

"Miracle, we felt so blessed to have our practicum at your company, and to know you were the most wonderful event that ever happened to us." Stella said.

"Yes. Miracle." Chad added, and I got overwhelmed that I can now finally say I have friends that I can share my pains, joys, and secrets with, and for that, I felt so thankful to have them in my life.
