Boot Camp (1)

Jasper sat in a jeep as it was driven by Jeff as they headed to the boot camp. He had already gotten much stronger than before and his basic foundational strength had been set up and now it was time for boot camp to start. While he wasn't training in the boot camp he was going to use the time to strengthen his foundational strength. This was to protect himself in the future.

Jasper looked out the window seeing the city quite the distance away. They had left at the break of dawn. His grandfather had cried hugging him telling him to be safe causing Jasper to nearly lose his temper. As such he had been in a foul mood and his two bodyguards who were actually quite perceptive at times left him alone.

Jasper smirked slightly. He wanted this month to fly by so he could go kill. He hadn't killed anyone or anything since he was transmigrated to this world and had a horrible itch to kill. He couldn't wait to go to the battlefield and kill the enemy. He wanted to watch as the light of life left his enemies eyes and feel the blood on his hands.

He quelled the killing intent in his eyes as the Jeep came to a stop in front of a gate and he looked forwards and figured the gate to be the front of the boot camp. He looked to the guard who walked over to them and asked for their identities and once confined they were allowed entry. He looked around as they drove in and went over and parked by several large buildings.

Jasper could tell the buildings were all uniformly placed and he knew this was the front the place gave to newcomers. He had used similar tactics when he took over his previous world. He got out of the Jeep and stretched, the drive had been three hours long. Even though the base was only a two hours drive from the city it had taken them three hours due to the traffic and the fact he lived in the center of the city.

He looked around before following Ryan and Jeff as they started for the building up front. They walked inside and he noticed a large soldier sitting behind a desk as he looked like he was working on his computer. Jasper watched as Jeff and Ryan walked up in front of the desk. Jasper followed their lead and stood in front of the desk calmly.

The man looked up and spoke, "you are?" Jeff spoke, "Lieutenant Cole! Sergeants Jeff and Ryan escorting Private Jasper to duty!" The man named Cole nodded, "Private Jasper, welcome to base Chard and your month of boot camp."

Jasper spoke, "Glad to be here." Cole nodded, "Go and report to Sergeant Thomas. Sergeants Jeff and Ryan should know the way. They will take you." Jasper nodded.

He then turned and followed Ryan and Jeff out of the building as they headed behind the buildings. He hadn't known the two of them were men in the military of the city. It also seemed they were high ranking. He didn't mind the fact he was a private but he knew his grandfather had complained. He would rather start at the bottom to learn where he stands in this world in terms of strength in the military.

He didn't want any back doors opened for him so he was happy for his father's arrangements for him. Although he had to listen to Jeff and Ryan's complaints as well as his grandfathers. He found nothing wrong with being at the bottom ranks. It also allowed him to understand the military structure better. He knew later he would be given the command of the army under the city. If he had a better understanding of its structure he would be able to fix problems he saw in it later so it had better structure and he could do as he pleased when killing his enemies.

He shook his mind of his thoughts as they rounded the corner to the back of the buildings and saw a sea of tents. He nodded slightly. He had expected it to be different from the buildings in the front and he had been right. He followed Jeff and Ryan as they went walking into the sea of tents.

There were others walking or running between the tents and he could see several cleared out areas when in a few he would see soldiers training, standing at attention, or running. He looked around as they walked deeper into the sea of tents before finally coming in front of a navy blue tent. Jeff and Ryan entered and he followed them in.

The tent was split into sections and when they entered, they had entered a small office looking part of the tent. Jasper looked around before a man in dark navy camp clothes came into the first part of the tent from the back part. The man looked at them and nodded before speaking.

"I am Sargent Thomas; What can I do for you boys?" Jeff spoke, "We have brought private Jasper here to report for boot camp" Thomas looked at Jasper and smiled, "You must be private Jasper. Welcome to boot camp. Let's get you to your tent. Since no one else joined with you, you'll have your own tent to yourself."

Jasper blinked before nodding, "Ok." Thomas smirked, "that also means you'll be training by yourself and doing all of the cleaning. Everything is falling on you to do every day." Jasper looked at him coldly, "that's fine." Thomas spoke, "I'll be training you personally so call me sir." Jasper spoke, "yes, sir.."

He disliked calling the man sir but the arua the man gave off was just as strong as his fathers. He knew better then to cause issues for now. Once he was strong enough only then could he do as he pleased. He looked at Thomas as he told him to follow as he left the tent.

Jasper grudgingly followed him out of the tent and through the sea of tents. He followed Thomas through the tents and pointed to a few tents telling him which was the canteen, washrooms, bathrooms, and the medic tent. He followed him until they stopped in front of a clump of cloth and some metal poles.

Thomas spoke, "You need to make your tent so I'll leave you to it"

Jasper looked at Thomas as the man walked off leaving him on his own. Before he hadn't noticed but both Jeff and Ryan were gone. He was on his own to make this tent; or at the least put it up. He had no clue how to though. He scowled before looking at everything trying to figure it out.
