This is my theory but the 5 mysterious cloaked people near the start of the book. Are they the 5 contracted spirits of Evelyn? Because they were planning something about warning Evelyn right and it states that the spirits have been waiting for a long time for her to remember her memories. So she might’ve been reincarnated a few times or there was a reason she was reincarnated again? I might be missing some details because it was hours ago when i read the start and now its all a blur. Oh but the spirits could have done something like turn back time to save Evelyn but kept failing thus they tried so many times that its been so long for them and they couldnt go all the way back to when they first met her but only to the time when she lost her memories. But it has to do something with her mothers death or her curse?
