A Tour of a Paris

Marinette was rolling out pastry dough when she heard loud screams coming from outside. Marinette looked up as two blurs ran into the bakery. They crouched you avoid a bunch of screaming people, then burst out in laughter.

Marinette recognized Adrien, but not the girl he was with.

"What's going on?" she asked as she walked over to Adrien and the girl.

"Sorry, Marinette. We need some snacks and a place to hide," Adrien explained.

"Actually, there are some fresh madeleines available. You're welcome to try some," Marinette lead Adrien and Mira to a display of fresh madeleines.

"I completely forgot!" Adrien laughed, "This is Mira. She and her mother just moved her from Utica, New York. Mira is the new student that will be coming on Monday."

"Hi! I'm Mira Belmont," Mia said as she and Marinette began to shake hands.

"This is Marinette, my girlfriend," Adrien gestured towards Marinette.

"Oh! I hope you don't mind, but Adrien is showing me around Paris." Mira looked worried she didn't want to get between Adrien and Marinette.

"It's fine. While you guys are looking around, I recommend you take Mira to the museum," Marinette suggested to Adrien.

"Do you want to come along?" Adrien asked her.

"I would, but my parents left me in charge of the bakery for a few hours. Maybe another time." Marinette politely turned down the offer, although she did want to go along.

Adrien and Mira each took a bite of a madeleine.

"This is amazing! I've never had a French pastry before, but I'll definitely have one again," Mira exclaimed.

"I hope to see you here again soon!" Marinette waved them goodbye. Mira seemed nice, but Marinette couldn't be sure she wasn't just another Lila in disguise.

Adrien and Mira finished their pastries and continued their tour. They visited the museum, the Arc de Triomphe, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Eiffel Tower.

"There's so much of Paris I never knew existed," Mira sighed. She and Adrien were standing under the Eiffel Tower.

"The more you see, the better it gets," Adrien said.

"There's just one question I have," Mira began, "What is it like having superheroes in Paris? On my phone, I looked up some information and facts about Paris, and it talked about Ladybug, Cat Noir, Hawkmoth, and all these other heroes and villains. Is it exiting?"

Adrien smiled and said, "There's nothing else like it in the world."

"I can wait. Paris seems so amazing!" As Mira spoke, Adrien felt his phone vibrate.

After a quick look, he said, "It's time for us to go back."

"Today was a lot of fun. Maybe we and some of your other friends can do something like this in the future," Mira suggested.

The two began walking back to Agreste mansion. After leaving the bakery, only a few fans had spotted Adrien. Thankfully, they only asked for autographs.

"Hey, Mira, I was wondering," Adrien began, "Where did you get that brooch? It's really nice."

"I bought this in New York shortly before my mother and I left for Paris. I bought it as a sort of "leaving home" thing," Mira looked down and brushed the brooch with her fingertips.

"Huh. I thought I'd seen something like that before."

When they reached Agreste mansion, Clarisse and Mira went to Le Grand Paris hotel where they would stay for the next few days. Mira didn't mind staying the hotel, as long as she had a small space to herself. She needed privacy to do something she hadn't done in a while.
