ADULT WORLD

Morning.

Selena almost didn't get enough sleep last night. She was wide awake though her eyes are shut the whole night. She pretended to be asleep the entire night and this is all because of Luke. He was watching her and with her every turn he makes sure she is comfortable by fixing her blanket and patting her hair.

"Damn male god.... Why are you so good to me?". She's so confused with Luke's attitude towards her. The most gorgeous man she laid her eyes on is giving her a princess treatment.

Selena heard Luke walked out the room quietly. She thought he is leaving for good. She opened her eyes and tried to sit down on her bed but after several minutes he walks in again with a tray on his hands.

"I'm glad you're awake". He puts the tray on the bedside table and help Selena to sit down. "Eat this while it's hot". Luke moved the tray gently to her lap after she sat down.

Selena's eyes are fix on Luke's handsome face. She's still in wonder. A perfect man like him is trying to serve her. A breakfast in bed, something that she only sees on tv and the one who always do that scene are mostly husband and wife.

'Is this how it should feel?'. She asked herself when she felt a wonderful feeling inside her heart. A feeling she don't want to end.

Selena feels a very strange feeling of wanting him so bad. He is like a magnet that's pulling her near to him and she can't fight back or pull herself away. She was thinking of running away from him last night but the thought alone makes her knees turn to jelly. She's assessing herself from this moment and the answer she found for herself makes her worried.

'I'M IN LOVE?'.

Luke is still smiling. His eyes are beaming with happiness. He noticed his beloved Mate is staring at him since he walk in. He tried not to embarrassed her and enjoyed the moment. But she needs to eat now.

"I hope I satisfied your eyes". A naughty smile flashed on his lips.

"What?". Selena didn't understand what Luke just said. Her attention was too occupied by him alone.

"Nothing.... Your more beautiful when you don't speak anyway". Then he chuckles.

Luke is now the one staring. He is studying Selena's small heart shaped face. Her double thick natural eye lashes. Her smooth vanilla skin. Her natural cherry lips and her beautiful long hair. For him she is an epitome of beauty.

"Holy shit!". Selena covered her mouth in an instant. She remembered something important that made her cursed. But she was embarrassed realizing Luke is in front of her.

"What's wrong?". Luke got worried.

"I... Ahm..... Yesterday". Selena doesn't know how to start her explanation. She can feel her face is very red right now. "I want to see Mr. Medina". She blurted out.

Luke's eyebrows furrowed. In his mind he wants to kill the man Selena wants to see. 'So early in the morning and she wants to see another male already'. His brain cursed. Jealousy is eating him.

Selena felt something weird about Luke after she asked for her professor. The man in front of him seems to be angry. 'He is not jealous, is he?'. She asked herself silently.

"Why do you need him?". Luke is throwing a hard tone. He's mood changed in an instant.

Selena was amazed with his question but didn't speak she just talked to herself. 'To explain myself of course, I don't want to get deducted, stupid'. She wants to blurted it out but her last word might get her into trouble. 'What to do?'. Her mind is in chaos. She feels like this male god won't let her run around freely starting today.

She lowered her head and saw Luke's hand pressing down the bed. Slowly her hand moved and touched his fingers. She got startled and took back her hand when she felt like an electric bolt of thunder went inside her body. 'What a strange feeling'. She thought. But curiosity strikes. She moved her hand again and her fingers caressed his. She smiled.

Luke was waiting for her answer but nothing came instead he saw her lower her head. He is watching Selenas every movement. He noticed her hand moved and touched his then retract. He thought, she probably felt the same electric shock went through their body but he didn't budge, he loves that feeling. He saw her tried to do it again. He thought she might have been curious. His heart almost melted when he saw her smile. The most beautiful smile he have ever seen in his life.

Everything about her seems magical to him but he is not surprised. It is created this way by their Goddess. Once a wolf is born a mate is also created for them. A string of connection is made from him to her. When a wolf find his mate everything about her will seems to be magical for him. He will be over protected of her to the extent that he can kill or be killed. For both wolves being mates is easy. After finding each other they can do the process of mating in an instant and no one would dare to stop them. But him and Selena, tons of problems may occur. Selena is a human though she seems to possess some power but she still belongs to the human world. If she refuse to be with him or be his mate his wolf and him will go crazy. They will go in rampage and kill everything in sight then die eventually. That's why he need to work hard on seducing and achieving her heart. But he realized that the gap on their age makes a bit disturbing. She's still a teenager and he already belong to the adult world. 'Damn!'.

"Luke". She calls his name so sweetly.

Luke was astound for a moment. "Yes?". He smiled. The way his Mate call his name seems very sweet.

Selena is now holding Luke's hand. "Can you please help me explain to Mr. Medina what happened yesterday. I don't want to get deducted". Her eyes are pleading.

Luke don't know if he wants to laugh or cry after hearing her. She asked for his help because she doesn't want her grades to be deducted. Thinking that she almost died yesterday makes Luke very upset and worried but he can't seem to read that kind of emotion in his mate's face. 'She is really a one tough cookie'. He said to himself. But his heart breaks seeing those helpless beautiful eyes of hers. Pleading for his help. He feels like he can do anything for her.

"Eat your breakfast first you need to regain your strength after that I will talk to him". He saw how Selena's face lights up. He felt her grip tightens in his hands and it made him smile. 'You really are so easy to please'. He mumbled. He smiled and patted her head. Then watched her eat.
