Chapter 240

Dong Hai stayed there sipping tea, while Xiao Liu was on edge if anybody came here and saw him. She would hate to think who will use this information to get her in trouble. It's not that she can not try to budge him off, his presence pleased her. She wanted to see him, didn't she? Then why did she feel so nervous? She shook her head and started to prepare for dinner. Dong Hai sits there sipping his tea silently observing her as she works. She wiped her brow getting the flour on her face, it was something oddly fascinating to be caught up in someone's presence.

It got dark and she lit the candles putting one stand on the table he was sitting on, Xiao Liu caught his gaze, her heart shuddered nervously and he didn't look away.

"Is there anything else you require? My Lord, " Xiao Liu asked.

He shook his head.

Xiao Liu nodded and turned back to the cooking platform. Dong Hai got up. She looked up in attention at that.

"You are leaving?" She asked.
