Chapter 58: There will be Retribution
Hong Liu turn swiftly to the noise and got off the bed, She looks around confused then her eyes landed on the white vase on the ground and shook her head, she waved her hand and it went back repairing itself and settle on the side table. A piece of paper caught her eyes its corner was pressed under it but it was open and something was writing in fine calligraphy, she bent and picked it up. For a second she hesitated...should she? She already inside First Lord private chambers now...? But it is open she convinced her self. Aiya! A peak won't hurt, she argues with herself.
Zhong Li,
I am leaving for seclusion for the Ocean of Bliss, make sure Princess Hong Liu leaves the Nine Heavens today. She has been enough inconvenience to me and makes sure to tell her that I don't wish to see her under any circumstances again.

Hong Liu's heart sunk and she went numb, tears welled up in the corner of her eyes threatened to spill. She swallows the lump in her throat as the paper slip from her hand. A silent sob left her, Dong Hai was in front of her now, staring at her with no expression but his hand raised to touch her tear and then he stopped.
'Go back and give up on me, there is nothing for you here,' He thought and it was like she heard him, so she turns to walk away. The wind blew making the paper catch on it, it went and get stuck on Hong Liu's robes. When she reaches the courtyard to exit from the gates of the ocean on bliss palace. The paper left her robe and a figure picked it up reading it.
"That's right, I always thought he gave you too much attention but you were always an inconvenience," Princess Zi Jie said.
Hong Liu wipes away her tears and brushed her nose turning to her.
"Many women come here and go, hoping to win First Lord hearts but I am the only one remaining constant," She walk towards Hong Liu haughtily, Hong Liu saw the paper in her hand.
"I am saying this for your own good, Bai Hong Liu, don't get your hopes up,"
Hong Liu sad face turn into a glib smirk. Zi Jie can't hold back her shock.
"Princess Zi Jie, though we are of the same generation. I am future Monarchress of one of the thrones of the Green forest. Therefore my rank is higher than you, I prefer if you address me by my title and as far as the thing about First Lord, congratulations to you, " Hong Liu gave a polite but sarcastic nod of her head, turn and flick her hair.
Hong Liu stepped out of the palace, swallowing her heartbreak with dignity.
Zi Jie just stares after her with a slack jaw, Dong Hai come from behind followed by Zhong Li. The letter in Zi Jie hand caught amber and burned away in her hand in the blink of an eye. She yelped in shock and turn only to see the First Lord.
"First Lord," She greeted him with a smile, trying to hide her shock.
Dong Hai gave a curt nod.
"What brought you here, your highness?" Zhong Li asked politely with a bow.
"I heard First Lord is leaving for seclusion..."
"I don't like it when someone interferes in my business," Dong Hai cut her off coldly, with her gave looking over her.
"First Lord..."
"Zong Li see her out,"
"Please your highness, Don't make this difficult," Zhong Li insisted and watch her out, she left internally seething.
When Zhong Li turns to face his master, his eyes widen.
"What is it?" Dong Hai asked.
"Your Lordship, your nose....it is bleeding,"
Dong Hai touch under his nose with his index finger knuckle and look at it, a drop of red-gold blood come of it.
"Its nothing, just a sign,"
